Man !! Sometimes I really feel like crying.. remembering my childhood. Being a 90's person ..this brought back so many memories. There was no internet..no social media..no big TV screens..no multiplexes...no tower like buildings...yet we were happier. No chaos. There were huge fields to run around...huge gardens.... Almost every household had a garden with mango trees..guava trees. We knew every family in the neighborhood. Whenever we made some special cuisines we used to distribute in the neighborhood. We weren't that urbanised..but somehow there was more peace and comfort.

I had put off listening to the new version and my fears have been confirmed! The old version had sports stars (all kinds not just cricket prakash padukone deepika's dad was in the kannada section i think), film stars, noted music maestros and common people. And I cannot but shed a tear at the end when the kids come together and form the flag!

exactly i have seen the newer version ,here ,for the second time only .. while i dont get tired of the older one💖 the india when we were growing up was something sudha murty described so well.. after freedom from british, when the indians were left with almost nothing much material..but the grit n determination of rebuilding the nation, we regrew ourselves fast.., within 3 decades we almost had it all..,from almost zero to almost the top💖 sigh... though now we have parasites..

Rick and Korbin how would I thank to you?....U reminded me old memories of my childhood when there were no satelite channels, social network, no cell phones. I m very thankful to three of u. On that time only One national TV channel was there in my childhood. U took me to flash back to my memories. I m 42 years old. And this song was 30 years old before, I was 10years old.
