7 Biblical Habits: 1. Find a mentor or be a mentor 2. Declutter your space 3. Put on habits that serve you & take off the ones that don't 4. Forgive others or yourself 5. Word of the year: you can pray about it until new year 6. Prioritize 3 things so you won't be overwhelmed 7. Day of rest (Sabbath)

I really appreciate the 7th one about sabbath which the word literally means to “rest”. People get so weirded out by taking a day off and focusing on God like it’s a bad thing. God is literally telling us to rest, relax and take it easy from the long week we just had. If anything it’s to help us and rejuvenates us for the upcoming week!

One of the things I started late this year is praying in the early morning. I pray from 5-730am with 4 different sisters from my church. It has transformed my relationship with God. I pray I can continue to choose 4 different women to pray each month

Love the reminder that Sabbath is a comandment ❤️ As a busy young mom I easily fall into the trap of productivity over rest. Definitely focusing on protecting my sabbath this year ahead ❤

Christians are not required to observe a weekly sabbath. Christians are now under “the law of the Christ,” which does not include keeping the Sabbath. The Bible helps us to understand this at Colossians 2:16,17 and Galatians 6:2. It was a command given to the nation of Israel, the Sabbath law applied only to those subject to the rest of the Law given through Moses. Even the Jews were “released from the Law” of Moses, including the Ten Commandments, by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Der Milena, I was born again In 2020. I got the holy spirit through grace, like all our Brothers and Sisters. At that time I enjoyed your videos, but recognized the spirit of the world. I prayed with all my Heart, for your Heart. You are so blessed Milena. You are in Christ. I adore your Holyness now. You put of all the pretty things outside and put it in the inside. Your Heart is so adorable now. With love from Bavaria Matthäa

Milena, all of these tips are so necessary in this day and age. The last tip of taking a sabbath, I most certainly want to implement it into my 2024. In being a recent graduate student and now graduating and starting the career search, I truly believe taking Sabbaths within this new season of life and transition will be so beneficial to my walk with Jesus in the New Year! Thank you

Thank you Milena, my husband and I recently got baptised together into a seventh day Adventist church. My husband (whom I’ve been with for 20 years) was raised SDA and it took us having my baby girl last year to be brought closer to the Lord. Embracing the Sabbath day which is the main difference of the SDA church to others was the best thing I’ve done. I feel less stressed, more rested, better family time, amazing church time and feel so restored. We do our bible videos and studies on Friday night also and I love that time together learning. it’s just something I can’t stress enough that is life changing. God knows that and that’s why it’s a commandment which I wish I embraced earlier. Love your content ❤

When you were talking about picking a word of the year the first word that came to my mind was patience, we are in a time of waiting in our life right now, a time of unknowns and we are also patiently waiting for our baby girl to come into this world! So patience is the first word that came into my mind and then it was the first word you said and you specifically said if you are in a time of waiting, just thought that was confirmation that that was definitely the word I needed this year!!

I’m having a hard time with forgiveness in the sense of… how to go about it. I know it’s gonna look different for everyone. My heart wants to let it go and give it to God, but I can’t confidently tell my fiancé or my therapist or whomever close to me that I have forgiven… these people. Only because I still think of what has been done to me with anger, but everything in my soul wants to be at peace. Is this something that takes time? The intentions are there, but the wound still hurts. Thank you for this video ❤️ Praying for you and your family, and a healthy pregnancy!

Cry this all out to the Lord. He is near and is able/willing to guide you as your trying to obey him. 🙏🏽 I can relate with the struggle with forgiveness. However God is so faithful and has helped me while healing me from the hurt. I am still a work in progress but his faithfulness in the journey to forgive is unfailing. Even writing this comment helps me remember his faithfulness. 😊

Whenever you struggle to forgive, just remember how much you have been forgiven! Christ had also had open wounds for our sake. Colossians 3:13 ❤️
@maary610 Жыл бұрын
If there are still wounds- pray for that people and bless them. More you will bless them, more your heart will be cured. And if you will find more things you know you need to forgive them - imagine that you're holding Jesus' hand or lean on Him and with His strength forgive them one more time and bless them

Hey! Conversation question 😊Would love to hear your thoughts on this. As far as I understand, Christians are not commanded to obey the sabbath because the sabbath was to point to rest and Christ is now our rest. While sabbath is a gift and something we are invited to participate in, we aren’t commanded to now that we have Christ? What are your thoughts? Praying for a joyful and peaceful Christmas! ❤

There is still The Sabbath of the Lord, this has not changed! Hebrews 4 tells us that there is a designated day to enter into a rest that was set from the beginning. Hebrews 4:9-10 NKJV [9] There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. [10] For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Do you have any helpful tips for someone who is COMPLETELY new to Christianity? Someone who wants to start understanding the Bible, where to start?
@BrendaJaylene11 ай бұрын
I've been thinking a lot about the sabbath and how Milena has spoken about it and has encouraged to do the same. After some studying and praying, I'd like to share that the Sabbath was indeed fulfilled in Christ. Rest is found in a person and we enter rest through that person --- The person of Jesus Christ. The sabbath is fulfilled in Christ and we now celebrate the Lord's day as coming together in fellowship (koinonia) as the people of God. Israel couldn't work on the Sabbath and they had to rest as a commandment. This ultimately points to the gospel -- it's not through works or merits, it's through Christ alone that we find rest for our souls. You can study Hebrews 4 and Colossians 2:16-23. I also want to say that this is not to bash or go against anyone, it just doesn't seem right in my spirit to maybe unintentionally try to enforce something that was already fulfilled in Christ. Like festivals, new moons or sabbaths (Colossians 2:16-17) With love!
