Well compared to my stolen Bosch, which went up in price and they did away with the handy controls for lousy single button, this unit sucks off by 3/16 where my Bosch had no issues with surfaces.

This and most other laser measurer devices are for quick and larger areas to measure and most of the time 3/16 doesn’t make a difference on a big scale…ya want something that specific and tight then your use a regular tape measure in small quarters…I’ve used this unit to measure large walls and rooms and pretty perfectly size out Sheetrock for rooms etc. more than enough accurate for what it’s designed for
