The point of the album at the time Miley was trying to go with a Pop/Hip Hop style, I personally think this is her second best album cause she experimented and it was very artsy, Plastic Hearts being my favorite album of hers

Haha I feel like people who listened to this album when it came out vs. today have very different opinion of it, and I get it, it is cringy now in 2023 if you just heard her rapping for the first time 😂 But this album was a big deal in 2013 (hence the grammy nom) and it was just a good time for a lot of people. For example, see The Bascome Twins's revisit of Bangerz to see how people did live through the album feel about it lol but I also get how you feel 😂

I'm a huge Miley fan but honestly, she really isn't an album girl (apart from "Plastic hearts", "ESV" and maybe "can't be tamed" which is for dance pop aficionados). I HATE that album, it's trashy and cacophonic to me.

4x4 is not that bad, but then the rap comes out and makes the song worse ☠️ Nelly didn't have any business in the song, what a bad combination of rap and country 😭 I am not a very fan of SMS because the Miley's voice is a little cringy, but damn, her rap in Do My Thang is so uncomfortable to listen, so cringe 😭 #GETITRIGHT is so bad, Pharrell produced the song, why most of his productions sounds the same? 😐 I only like: Adore You We Can't Stop My Darling Wrecking Ball Love Money Party This album is bad :/
