Agree with a majority of the comments. When you mature it does become obvious when around those who are less mature. It's not Alex fault she is just not there yet. I think a lot of the fan base of this podcast are a little on the younger side. But this is a wonderful learning experience for her because now the dynamic of the podcast has switched from her and Sophia together babbling to her being the interviewer and it's going to take practice. Miley is so relatable to me not wanting to fuck constantly all the time, just taking care of herself and then continuing with her goals.

@@xoDancexoPurplexo I know you replied to someone else in my thread but I work in the music industry as a concert and tour producer so I am constantly traveling and hanging with very large and famous artists, so I have indeed met artists that I've been a fan of since I was a child... There is a way to show love and kindness to people whose work impacted you without full-on worshipping them and changing your entire personality to suck up to them. They certainly pick up on that behavior and they often complain backstage when they keep having to deal with people who are doing that. It ruins the potential relationship that you would have had with them because they can't reach a real, genuine connection with you. In turn they'll keep the people who do that at arm's length because there's no depth to be found in those interactions. People who are famous still want to be treated and spoken to like regular humans. The starry-eyed fan behavior is honestly really annoying to deal with all the time. I don't "blame" Alex but I do think she has a strong enough personality that she could have done better... The total personality change was unnecessary and it was quite apparent even before Miley spoke up about it that she can't vibe with that behavior because she strongly craves deeper connections and conversations.

Surprised to see that behavior is all, especially as she touts herself as having a strong personality. Hopefully she will grow into being more comfortable being herself in interviews soon.

anonimysz I know. I think Alex probably initially thought that Miley would be a great candidate for the show because she has so many songs about sex and sexuality which leads us to think that she has sex all the time and that it’s a huge part of her life, when in actuality it’s just a small portion of her life. It was nice to learn more about her, but it was like she was constantly beating around the bush with her responses... like when Alex asked her what her favorite position was and she said “CEO” and when she asked her what her favorite toy was and she said “chandelier.” Like c’mon... how is Alex supposed to respond to those questions lol? I don’t think Alex has ever interviewed someone who didn’t answer her questions clearly so this was definitely good experience though.

This interview had so much potential but just wasn’t it. Miley provides so many opportunities for Alex to really pick her brain and get below the surface about sex/sexuality/love/her trials and tribulations, but unfortunately Alex wasn’t able to key in on those moments and ask certain follow on questions to really allow Miley to express her thoughts or herself fully. This interview might have been great for the channel and CallHerDaddy label, but I think it did Miley a disservice. Also Alex says “yea” and “right” a lot throughout Miley’s responses, it takes away the genuineness and makes it seem like she’s not actively listening, just waiting to respond instead of absorbing Miley’s words and emotions. Love Miley Cyrus and I’m so glad the world was able to see this side of her because she’s a truly beautiful person inside and out, but Alex- cussing and saying like every other word makes you lose credibility as a professional.

Disappointed by this interview. Even if Miley did preapprove these questions (although she seems very adamant about avoiding several topics), it seems clear most of what Miley said flew over Alex's head. What could have been interesting conversations fell flat because Alex just mindlessly said "right" and "yeah" while clearly not really understanding what is going on because she just wants to get back on the topic of sex toys or positions. I really want to support this pod but i keep finding it to just be braindead, shallow discussions with potentially harmful ideology. Some depth and nuance to the sexuality talk, like what Miley attempted to do for you here, could really add value to Call Her Daddy. Try to learn something.
