Miley is so incredibly underrated with her folk and country music she does. She has such a great voice for it, whether it is this or her cover of Jolene or her Bob Dylan covers. I really enjoy her voice and when she sings. This song has always been my favorite, it is one I sing at home when I am down. Her voice breaking as she holds back tears is just so emotionally perfect. RIP Tom Petty, we loved you dearly.

my uncle died on October 1st 2020. we played this song when we spread his ashes a month later. We all said that this was his song. As he loved Tom Petty so much. This song will always remind me of that day when we spread his ashes.

I was fortunate enough to see him in concert back in 1978 or 79. WOW! Where did time go and what a show I'll never forget it. He was performing at a small arena in Orlando only around 2000 people, if that.. so fortunate to have been to a show like that. He wasn't even a superstar back then, but we saw the potential with that show. I remember I almost couldn't get off work to go to that concert, a lot of people hadn't even heard of Tom Petty then so I didn't think it was any big deal but I really wanted to go and I'm so glad I did so so glad...
