Rhett and Link as well as Terry Crews live in La Cañada too (or at least did when I lived there) and Miley went to a church down the street in an even smaller “town” I guess you could call it called Montrose!

Quick clarification corner! La Cañada (pronounced ken-YAH-dah) is actually a city about 30 minutes outside of LA. It's a lot closer to Pasadena, CA. Likewise, the border of Pasadena and La Cañada is where JPL is- basically NASA's laboratory and west coast field center. It is a gorgeous place- lots of mountains and canyons! Definitely a more affluent area though, so take "smallest house we could find" with a grain of salt :)

i remember reading this! there have been details of it stuck in my brain forever and they simply won't leave.like a scene where she describes how intense her cheer coach was, and how she was practicing so much, on the sidewalk also for some reason. and yeah the part where she's like there was this girl I vibed with at auditions for lily but she didn't get it, and me and emily were not really friends, that was the first time i realized that actor aren't exactly like their characters (shock and awe, gasp) i was like oh you can work with someone every day and still not be besties? huh. i feel like some people still have trouble with that concept, but Miley taught it to me at the age of 12 or however old i was when i read it lmao. but i did like that as they grew up, they became less intense and had a good working relationship. and i remember her also being besties with one of her dancers. these facts are never leaving my brain. but everything else you said, completely forgot about it lmao

What i got from this video is that Miley's memoir at 15 is still better than Leah Michelle's 🤣

I remember nothing from this book, but I did read it in middle school on a family road trip to like Georgia or somewhere I don't recall, but I think that's the only way to truly experience this book.

I read this when I was like 8 years old and literally loved it back then, found it in a thrift shop recently and was so tempted to buy it, to see if it held up but I decided to keep some magic of my childhood alive…but I’m sure this video will change my mind 😅

something makes me severely doubt that Miley would have known the Robert Frost reference implied in HER OWN BOOK'S TITLE lol

I read this book at like 11 or 12 and the only thing I remember is her writing about her favourite hand and how sad she is that noone asks her what her favourite hand is.

PLEASE I read this when it came out. I checked it out at the library. I don’t remember much beyond when she wrote about her relationship with Nick Jonas

I never read the book but I used to read her blog around this time. I remember nothing except that she talked a lot about ice cream.
