考察(長文注意) アマネちゃんは小さい時から宗教を信じていて(信じさせられていて)、教理に反することをすると「愛」という名目で罰を受けていて、どんな罰を受けてもその宗教を信じることを「幸せ」と信じていて(信じさせられて)いた。ある時傷を負った人を信者たちが神様のお祈りで直そうとしたけど一向に治らず、見かねたアマネちゃんが手当しようとしたら「神様の力を信じていない」として罰を受けて、その時にその人を見捨ててしまいその人が死んだため、「殺した」ということになった(最後のエンディングのようなシーンに怪我をしていた猫がいなかったため)。 最後の画面をながめるアマネちゃんは、過去のことを振り返り、宗教のせいで何が正しいのか、自分はなんなのかわからなくなったアマネちゃん。また、MVが子供向け番組風で、最後にその番組を見るアマネちゃんがでてくることから、アマネちゃんは子供向け番組を見るくらいの年齢から宗教を信じさせられていて、最後の目が死んでいるアマネちゃんは洗脳されたと考えることもできる。 【追記】今回のMVとは関係ないが、アマネちゃんのランドセルには宗教のシールが貼られているが、それがはがされた跡があり、宗教を信仰していることが理由で学校でいじめられていた可能性がある。

So there are quite a few theories for Amane going around, and a lot of it is scattered information, but I wanted to post something with what I’ve interpreted from the music video and lyrics as well as pose my own theory. The one that came to mind immediately was the fixation on the cult aspect because that’s all I had seen before the official MV and song’s release. I still believe that the cult plays a large role in this, for reasons I will disclose below, but after watching the music video I’m starting to think that the magical girl aesthetic plays a larger role than simply being a metaphor for how Amane feels about the cult. In short, I believe that Amane is acting as the poster child for the cult and they’re even televising their “teachings” under the guise of a children’s show. There seem to be a lot of elements to me that indicate that everything is staged (for one, the stage light that “accidentally” falls at 1:34) as well as the fact that there is an intro and an outro that are reminiscent of children shows I used to watch when I was younger (the first one that came to mind being Yo Gabba Gabba). The video continues onto a character introduction sequence--the first one is Gachata, the Strict Robot. Gachata seems to be a teacher of sorts that teaches kids how to behave “properly,” which wouldn’t be too out of place in a kid’s show. He seems to place a heavy emphasis on waking up early, attending to one’s studies diligently, and also keeping things tidy. The next character to be introduced is Yuri, the Compassionate Big Bro, who seems to be playing the role of a beggar asking for donations--and as seen in the music video he receives quite a few donations. This represents the underhanded methods that the cult may employ to get money from unsuspecting individuals, but it also could represent the donations that come from others who have been indoctrinated. (It’s important to take note of the animals that appear in this sequence). The sequence after Yuri’s intro is a scene that appears to be reminiscent of a Japanese game show where they are asking Amane for the “right answer,” and she evidently gets it wrong and she is then punished by Gachata who flicks her forehead and causes her to fall over comically. This means that Amane continuously minimizes the punishments she receives by seeing them as nothing more than light admonishments even though they likely went beyond what is normal when scolding a child. She is then helped up by who I assume to be Yuri (based on the white glove and five fingers), which seems like the fifth stage of cult indoctrination. They’re giving Amane “tough love” by punishing her and then being kind to her afterward once she learns to “be a good girl.” If that’s the case, then it means that Amane wasn’t fully indoctrinated into the cult, but I’ll cover its relevance later. After this, Gozake, the Strange Monk, is introduced and his role appears to be as the spiritual leader--the one who spreads the teachings and ideology within the cult. I hope you remembered the animals from Yuri’s sequence because if you’re paying close attention another animal seems to have joined--one who hasn’t donated to the cult--an orange cat. Then, Riyome, the Energetic Tomboy, gets an intro card, but no role afterward (although based on her bandaid design we could be led to believe that she’s a healer of sorts). However, instead of her helping those who are injured the next sequence that plays is the stage light falling on top of the orange cat. Here, I believe that Riyome’s role is much more sinister than the previous characters. After all, the cult has to spread their teachings, and what could possibly be more convincing than a live demonstration of their teachings? Just in case you didn't know, stage lights are pretty darn secure. They don’t suddenly fall like that unless they’re simply that old, but they’re often checked and tested _before_ anyone gets near them which means that the stage light was likely sabotaged, by who? Of course, you’ve probably guessed it by now, but it was likely Riyome. This is further evidenced by the fact that she conveniently manages to bring up one of the cult’s teachings--that spiritual medicine and guidance are all that is required to heal physical afflictions. This is where Amane not being fully indoctrinated comes into play. For the first time (that we see), Amane seems to doubt their words. She watched as the cat suffered and wondered if this was really something that could be solved by praying and wishing for better health (1:52). The next scene that plays is absolutely heart-wrenching. Amane heals the cat using actual medicine, you know, science and not some spiritual prayer. The four characters from before catch Amane just as she seems to be trying to convince the cat to keep what she did a secret which is why both of them are so shocked to be found. Some look disappointed, others (looking at you Riyome & Gachata) are downright terrifying. Then, we see a sequence of Amane receiving different punishments from each of the characters--a majority of them corporal punishments. First is Riyome, who appears to be electrocuting Amane, which, when considering her role in the cult (setting up “accidents” where people get hurt so that they can be magically healed through prayer and if they don’t get healed then they just didn’t believe hard enough) isn’t too surprising. Next, is Gozake which reminds me of the old tradition where monks would meditate under ice-cold waterfalls, he may have repeatedly poured ice-cold water on Amane to replicate this. Next, is Yuri, the supposed “Compassionate Big Bro” who seems to have no problem raising his hand against Amane and physically hitting her (extended arm and comic book effects often used when striking). Finally, we see Gachata who seems to be ringing the alarm that is too loud for Amane, representative of the fact that he verbally scolds her for her actions. I imagine that while this happens they try to push the blame onto Amane, that the reason she’s suffering is because _she_ broke a promise and wasn’t a good girl. And as the sequence would have us believe...they don’t punish her just once, they repeat until she’s been completely brainwashed and accepting of the cult’s teachings. This is evidenced in the following scene where Amane picks herself up and clasps her hands together in prayer before undergoing a “magical girl” transformation. There are rings around her eyes that weren’t there before, she gets a “magic wand,” her bowtie changes to a brooch of sorts with the cult’s symbol (a cloud with what appear to be smiling faces on it), and wings in the shape of a cloud appear behind her. Then, we see Amane’s crime take place--but only for a second (2:47). She raises the “magic wand” and administers divine punishment on the non-believer (the cat she helped from earlier) while the four characters watch and cheer her on. As we can see from Undercover, Amane appears to be beating her victim with a rod, and her voice line when committing her crime is, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m sorry for breaking the rules!” The next sequence that plays is Amane fully accepting her role and spreading the cult’s teachings while saying things like, “I won’t say ‘I’ve had enough [of this cult].’ Will you laugh with me and forgive me?” And behind her singing, you can hear Amane practically begging them to forgive her (2:56-3:03). And then the outro plays and we can see the credits roll--evidently, Amane’s title is “Happiness Support Sister.” So, overall, the video is a happy fun time where nothing goes wrong! /s With the information we have, I can’t see Amane as anything _but_ innocent, if anything she’s a victim as well. However, I can’t help but worry that if we vote her innocent it would only solidify her belief that what the cult had her do was the “right” thing to do. What do you guys think?

this is an interesting interpretation! and a good point I didn't think about at first, I wonder if voting her innocent will make her think her actions were okay... though I don't feel right putting all the blame on her for this either, since y'know... the straight up horrifying manipulation and abuse ;; I guess this is another reminder that this binary voting system is set up to be full of holes in the first place. We don't even know where voting either will lead, but we're in for the ride I suppose. what does the shifty rabbit want with us...

@@ruthalcantara3251 Yeah... that's the thing, as with many of the trials the answer we're forced to make won't fix most of them. What does forgive mean? Are we setting them free? They don't have to atone for what they did? Because they are all essentially guilty of what happened. But what is not forgiving them, the death penalty? Life in prison/Milgram? If we look at it one way that won't solve it or be fair. Many of these characters need therapy, or the degree of their crime isn't only their fault, do they deserve to die on behalf of everything that happened? Like here, I agree, I'm so afraid she might be broken after all that but it's also not her fault, is leaving a child in prison okay? Or giving her the death penalty for this? If anything someone needs to go after that "cult" before they cause more problems... but I'm just rambling, this system was never stated to be fair haha. In the end the vote is your choice, we can only see how this goes and appreciate the amazing songs and animation along the way. It's interesting to think about how Milgram itself ties into this, I wonder how much we'll find out in the future

@@thefallenblue Yeah, I think that with a lot of these characters receiving _proper_ help and therapy is better than something like the death penalty/remaining in the MILGRAM (jail) forever or they get to go off scot-free. Though I do have a theory that the MILGRAM may be an experiment with some sort of 'Gotcha!' ending, I can't be sure. I am interested to see what happens as a result of our voting in the second round of trials.

i think her answer to number 8 is really interesting. she says that both morals and emotions are trivial. while i understand why she thinks emotions are, saying morals are trivial is more curious to me. i kind of thought that she thought what she's done is right. that 'god's' ((really, what the cult tells her are his rules)) rules are her moral system, that he is moral, and therefore she is, and she's done what she must because it is right. but she thinks morals are trivial. so, if it was not a moral obligation that she had to commit murder for, perhaps she believes that the cult and her murder are amoral. they are wrong, but they are *necessary*. am i making sense? idk. it's just that a lot of fundamentalists and religious extremists hold onto what 'god has said' for the direction of their entire life. he is the ultimate good, the ultimate 'right', the ultimate 'just', and they must live by that because that's what's right. but she doesn't care about what's 'right' in a moral sense. it's just a thought, idk. ALSOOO, she's close with yuno? the leading theory for yuno rn is that she got an abortion, which religious people *normally* find to be sinful in nature. it could be that she just doesn't know about yuno's crime, or maybe it's that yuno didn't get an abortion, or even that amane's cult isn't pro-birth. -which might make sense because they had a kid kill someone, but i digress-

My theory is that Amane grew up in a cult akin to that of Happy Science (幸福の科学). She grew up in this cult and was forced to be a child actor to recruit more members for this cult in particular. [To provide some background context, Happy Science (also known as The Institute for Research in Human Happiness) is one of many new spiritual movements in Japan. However, this particular cult has connections within the entertainment industry. Some of the members joined through the influence of their parents at a young age, such as the case of actor Fumika Shimizu.] Mow, in terms of cast members, the main five are as follows: ハピネス応援おねえさん - ももせあまね Happiness Support Sister Momose Amane-The protagonist of the show. まさじめロボット - ガチャタ Serious Robot Gachata -Amane’s Father 思いやり兄さん ユウリ Compassionate Older Brother Yuuri-Amane’s Older Brother 不思議なお祈り屋さん ゴザケ Mysterious Monk Gozake-Amane’s Religion Teacher すこやかおてんば姫 リヨネ Healthy Tomboy Riyone-Perhaps a high priestess within the cult? 0:24 - The first one we meet is Gachata, who acts that as a teacher to Amane. Notice in all three images shown during Gachata’s section, the person is depicted to be smiling. 0:40 - The second we meet is Yuuri, the older brother character of the show. He wears a donation box with a smiling cloud placed on it. Coins are put into the box before it becomes over flooded with money. (Could be referring to people donating to the organization.) 1:16 - We meet the monk Gozake, who acts as the religious teacher of the show. In his section, he teaches Amane to sing and is joined by four other child co-stars. 1:32 - Finally, we meet Riyone. She doesn’t have a specific part in the show. However, due to the bandages on her character, she might be a priestess involved with the cult that prays for people who are sick and unhappy. 1:42 - An accident occurs, injuring one of the co-stars. Riyone joins in, reminding the others that praying is the only way for the injured person to truly get better. Amane starts to realize that this isn’t the case; that she can do something to help them. This is why she takes it upon herself to help them. 2:08 - Judging by this scene in particular, she knows she isn’t supposed to be helping them out like this, which is why she asks them to keep it a secret. However, it is in vain, as she is discovered anyway. This leads to 2:15, where it’s implied she was abused as punishment for her actions. “Only if I could be a good girl.” is most likely referring to her breaking the rules of the group to help someone, and views herself as a bad child. All of this builds into the line of 2:32 - “Dear wise one, am I worthy?” She realizes her actions are wrong, and she prays to be able to repent for her mistakes. She broke the rules of the group and has to pray in order to be forgiven by god. This is when she decides that the only way to repent is by removing the problem itself. (An interesting note at 2:40, this is the only time in the MV where her eyes are no longer hollow, for a lack of better words. This could be referring to her achieving happiness or being completely brainwashed into believing so.) At this point, she fully endorses the cult and embraces the nature of the happiness they’ve been trying to spread, thus leading to her transformation (into a magical girl) and reconciliation with the rest of the cast. We are now at the end of the video, at 3:21. Amane seems to be watching what appears to be the show in question, now with deadpan eyes. She is traumatized by the events that occurred. Now, in terms of the murder in this video, I believe it's heavily implied to be one of the extras, in this case, the cat that got injured. This is why the cat is not seen present at 3:10 with the rest of the extra characters, they are now deceased. The motive behind this was heavily related to the abuse she suffered after helping the cat after the stage light accident. This leads to the line of her yelling “I’m sorry! I’m sorry for breaking the rules!” in her voice teaser video. The murder was an act of repentance for breaking the rules.

HELLO AFTER RELEASE THEORY I think it's extremely obvious that the robots were trying to tell amane what they're doing is love (out of religion), the robots represent fake animals, which means fake love. Whenever she approaches a "real animal" she gets punished, because she wasn't supposed to find affection and comfort outside of her religion. And at the end, she wanted to be a good girl and killed the person she truly bonded with so she won't get punished anymore.

A minor detail I found is that at 2:00, you could hear that the MV switches instrument and uses a church organ, bells, and a choir of people, which further supports that it has something to do with some religious cult. Edit: I would also like to add that a friend of mine told me that one of his friends seemed to have gone into a uncommon religion or cult, and one thing that he told me is that his friend and other childern used to collect money when they were still kids, pretty much acting like beggars and solicitors on the street asking for money (is how his friend described it), and that they would give all that money to their religion because that is their one source of income which can be seen here in 0:43.

One thing I'd like to point out is how the entire video (minus the spotlight falling) is in Amane's fantasy world. We don't see her in the real world till the end. This could mean that she was so far deep into the religion/cult that she didn't view it as 'real' anymore. Since it very much resembles a children's tv show, it's likely that she views her life this way to cope with the abuse her family/other cult members give her. She's viewing it in a way to make it seem okay. The scene at the end is clearly much different than the rest of the video. She looks tired and defeated, probably due to the abuse. But since she doesn't know anything else, she views her life like the tv show and tries her best to be the good girl she's meant to be.

I think that they made Amane do it. They brainwashed her, told her that she broke the promise to their god or smth (maybe even threatened her that the orange cat won't go to heaven because of her or smth similar; or maybe that the cat was the "devil" that made her "stray off the good path" ); they did it until she broke mentally - I think in Undercover you can see her beating someone to death with a bat/plank(?) and she seems to be doing this in the heat of passion. Maybe that's one of the reasons that she has a magical girl transformation at the end - she wants to believe that she just killed an "evil" (or even that "healed" the cat from "evil", that could be smth the cult leaders told her)? She probably had very limited knowledge of the world outside the cult, probably only seeing it through TV/internet/cartoons,(as someone speculated before) so she coped with a whole thing in the only way she could...

Honestly the overall idea that everyone should vote to "Forgive or Not forgive" is tiring Not only Jackelope already said in his mv that you can also just vote for any reasons you like, it's literally been confirmed the verdicts have an actual influence on the characters and their arc. I can garantee you no one ever thought Amane was guilty for being brainwashed by her cult, in fact I remember the votes being at literally 80% innocent back then. The only reason people still voted guilty anyways is because voting innocent might actually enhence her brainwashing. Hell there's literally some character development during her birthday diologue when Shido asks her if she wants cake. Amane is usually cold and acts super serious and hates stuff that she deems "childish" like cake but here it's hinted that it's a façade and that she does actually want cake.

something I think is really interesting is how childish both Amane and Haruka are. Amane makes sense obviously, since she's an actual child. comparatively, Amane's childish imagery is way more colorful. She's a magical girl living in a world of cartoon characters. Haruka has picture books and scribbles overlaying the real world. I don't have anything to say about what that implies, I just think it's neat!! anyways. The most popular theory currently circulating around the community is that Amane was raised in a cult, or born into a very religiously strict family. But what if the cult-like themes surrounding her weren’t just related to anything religious? My main speculation about Amane is that she is a *child idol star, or at least someone who’s very skilled/talented at something and is known for it in a wide audience. It can explain as to why she’s… happy, in the thumbnail. She’s wearing some type of uniform you would see in performances. Granted, this uniform can be purely symbolic, but it would also be interesting to see Amane getting music-themed imagery for her MV since Kazui’s entire MV was themed around theatre. We also never see her smile; the only moment where we do is during the UNDERCOVER MV, but the moment she took off her hat, she completely became serious - as if she would only be all smiles in front of camera, and then dropping it when she’s away from the limelight. Behind her straitjacket, Amane also dons a school-girl outfit under it, along with a sailor hat, and a backpack… It’s as if the creators want us to view Amane as a caricature of a little girl. The idol industry is undeniably very rough especially for someone like Amane’s age. It’s not uncommon to hear parents who push their dreams and ambitions onto their children, so Amane’s autonomy was stripped away from her at a young age and she was definitely forced to overwork herself for their sake. In the interactions she’s had with others, Amane has shown to be someone who’s very focused on her studies, and many child celebrities struggle to balance their academics and their talent cultivation. Not only that, Amane dislikes being seen as a child. Many of the prisoners note her maturity, as seen in her interaction with Shidou where he voices his concern about how a child of her age is a “murderer”. Amane, in response, is almost offended that Shidou insinuates that she has no form of free will, to a point where Shidou says he feels saddened that Amane might hate him in an interrogation question. Maybe Amane is used to being babied and infantilized for her age; again, being in an environment with no control over her autonomy probably makes her feel irritated or disgusted when people only see her as a child. Another reason why I mention Amane being in the entertainment industry is because being an “idol” can mean many things. An idol can be a person or thing that is greatly admired, loved, or revered. But it can also mean an image or representation of a god used as an object of worship. Amane understands that there are things higher than rules and laws - she’s not afraid of anything in the prison at all. What if all this adorable persona she has in front of others is a guise of something much sinister? Has her obedience towards her parents, to her superiors, lead her to believe that she’s a messenger/idol for something of higher power? It’s also not unheard of to hear conspiracy theories of people from the entertainment industry to be working for… other things. Such as the theories of celebrities being in the illuminati, for example. It’s also noteworthy that Amane speaks to “God” as if she’s asking for help or repentance in the MV preview lyrics too (Am I worthy? Is it ok to spoil myself? I’m going to be a good girl now). Aside from that, the idol industry, once again, is very grueling towards someone as young as Amane; they have to follow a strict set of rules and regulations as per contract. It’s common to see idols being punished for voicing out personal opinions to maintain an image or for literally doing anything they want since they have no free reign over their lives (one famous example is an AKB48 member shaved her hair when she was caught dating with someone), so the promise-breaking aspect for Amane can be her breaking a rule, and ultimately, lead some type of murder from happening. And she shows no remorse for doing so - did she finally snap from all the pressure and kill one of her parents, or her employers? Other notes: - I’m pretty sure her parents, or at least her dad, is her producer/employer. Amane briefly mentions about her father in a conversation she had with Mahiru, that he was "a truly splendid person. honest and fair, and does all his work for the sake of others". She speaks about him in a very charismatic light. The three symbols in Amane’s GraffArt merch shows: - thunderstorm = The bolt of lightning is a traditional symbol of sudden illumination and the destruction of ignorance; it also represents a punishment of humans by the gods from the skies, most commonly attributed to Zeus, king of the gods. - a henohenomoheji face = conveys an idea of anonymity, and may be worn as a mask. Also a symbol to chase away rain. - an angel = regarded as invisible messengers, inhabitants of Heaven, beings of light and symbols of lightness as well as fire and martial power. Footnote: - *You can switch child idol star with anything and the narrative of my theory would remain the same. She could also probably be a magician in the MV, to match with the title and theme of the song. This is my first time theorizing something pre-release, hopefully I get something right at least lol. =EDIT: POST-RELEASE THOUGHTS= I... do NOT know nor do I have any thoughts about her actual murder. But, I was somewhat correct in a few aspects, such as the overall narrative of the MV story; which was her living in a strict environment and being exploited by her family for her talent/age etc, and about her wearing the uniform. To reiterate once more, the definition of idol can mean two things; someone who's greatly loved by many, and the other, being an image or representation of a god used as an object of worship. I definitely think Amane holds a poster child, leader-type role throughout the MV; being the main character of the video and all, it wouldn't surprise me that she's there to represent the cult/religion's deity or god. I think Amane wasn't supposed to interact with the orange cat because she seemed to react in surprise or in shock when the 4 elders caught her helping it... and during the sequence when Amane was being punished, the church organ backing made it sound like it wanted Amane to repent, to come back to the "light" - hence in 2:47, after completing her transformation, Amane now takes over the cloud symbol. Her eyes and background are distorted to reflect this transformation. Accompanied with her wings, she is now one with their God. She would use her lightning rod to strike the orange cat in a literal sense (to relate this back to her silhouette in the UNDERCOVER MV where you can see her beating someone up with a rod), maybe because the lightning can represent punishment or divine intervention, killing the "cat" in the process. I would also like to note that the lyrics for this song make it sound like this "promise" Amane was supposed to keep was something very scary and heavy, but she chalks this up by saying that she's a good girl! She'll never break promises, for the sake of greater good. P.S. The orange cat that Amane helped did not donate money to the cult/religion, and light fell downwards them... Perhaps this was a sign of karma? That cat alongside Amane really deserved better.

どうなんだろうね、単純にMVや歌詞だけ見れば 宗教団体(家族)の中に居た。 ↓ その宗教には怪我や病気をしても祈れば治るので、絶対に治療をしたり病院へ行ったりするなという謎ルールがあった。 ↓ 友人(又はペット)が大怪我をし、それを治療してしまった事でルールを破ってしまった。 ↓ 宗教団体はルールを破ったアマネを拷問し、結果殺してしまった。 ↓ 「ルールを破った事で自分を殺してしまった」 と考えられるけど、後半拷問後に羽が生えたシーンを"死んだ"のでは無く"狂信者爆誕"のシーンだと捉えると 拷問後、アマネは心を入れ替えてしまい完全な信者になる。 ↓ 宗教の教え通り誰がどんなに酷い怪我や病気をしても治療したり病院へ連れて行ったりせず、ただ祈るのみ。 ↓ 結果「多くの者を見殺しにしてしまった」 とも考えられる。 最後のシーンの虚ろな眼差しは前者なら死体、後者なら廃人となったアマネの物じゃないかな？と思っています。完全に個人の考察ですが、良ければ参考にどうぞ。 【追記】 同シリーズを見直した所アンダーカバーの最後の囚人達が相手を殺害した方法が再現されるシーンで、アマネは棒のような物を手に撲殺するようなポーズをとっている事に気付きました。 これにより自説前者のアマネ自身が死んだ可能性は低いと考え、後者の説をベースに考察を進める事にします。 殺害方法が撲殺という事は違反者を制裁する側に回ったアマネが拷問中誰かを殺してしまったのでしょうか？ それともMV中治療した猫(友人?親族?)はその後見殺しにされたのでは無く、上からの命令若しくは狂信者となったアマネの判断で殴り殺してしまったという事なんでしょうか？ ………この可能性は低いですが、宗教団体の異常な思想に耐え切れなくなり我に返ったアマネが叛逆を起こし、教祖を殴り殺してしまった…なんて展開だったら、ちょっと胸アツですね。

My group of friends theorized over the MV and came up with this: Amane is the mascot of a promotional cult video. The robots (adults) are the creators of the cult. The animals are people she pulled into the cult. The victim is the cat who she helped after the accident. Proof: - Amane is shown watching the promotional video at the end. Her dead eyes suggest she had been brainwashed with this video, and later became the mascot. I place this scene before the MV because of the screen reflecting in her eyes. She's looking at the scene at 0:05 but without Amane in it. It was a prototype promotional video that got her into the cult. 3:22 - The adults tell them prayer will help heal the hurt cat. After they pray and nothing happens, Amane begins to feel doubt. She then helps the cat in secret, telling the cat to not tell the others. But the adults were watching, and begin to punish her. 1:40 - If you take the punishment scene literally, the ways of abuse are very telling. The pink one does shock therapy, the blue one drowns her repeatedly or possibly throws ice cold water on her (?), the yellow/brown one beats her, and the green one brainwashes her. 2:13 This is further proven when afterwards, she stands up with a smile on her face, praying, and her eyes look hypnotized. 2:35 - After her abuse, she seemingly becomes forgiven by the adults/robots, and she becomes even more devoted to the cult. Her outfit changes, and most notably, she gains a wand with a lightning bolt in it. I believe this signifies that she now carries out punishment as well. She is fully a tool of the cult now, with no doubt in her mind anymore. 2:40 - The cat is missing from the credit scenes. Blue one being the financial leader, while the green one does the brainwashing and teachings. - We also believe the pink one is the one who caused the light to fall on the cat. After each robot is introduced, we are shown their role. The green one is a teacher 0:23 , the yellow one collects donations 0:40 , the blue one is a choir teacher 1:17 , and immediately after the pink one is introduced 1:32 , the light falls on the cat (child), and she says prayer will help heal their wounds. We also believe the blue one was impressed by this, as he is shown a surprised look like, "oh, nice save!" 1:48

The waterfall one could be referring to Zazen, a meditation method under a waterfall, and the blue one is modelled like monks.. So perhaps maybe she was forced to do zazen or some sorts?
