I always noticed the RSR has a slighty slower launch and great max speed,but the evo has a really fast launch but a slighty low top speed,both are great race cars but i think it depends on what kind of race you will be and how good you are at driving,thats why i use the EVO for circuits with really tight turns and the RSR for races with long tracks

The fact that your testing had to get so complicated to tease out a statistically substantial result shows how much the devs tried for balance while making each vehicle different. Great vid, btw!

He tested the evo against rsr in a straight run and thats what trigger said, rsr has the weakness in straight line bcos acceleration is less than evo. However, its a masterpiece in cornering. Both cars are unique and fun to race with. Though my personal favourite is the evo, i too know that rsr is the best car in the game... Anyway, good video...!

I actually think the 5 races you have set up works perfectly. Also, considering they'll be pretty close but still have overall differences between their runs and the rsr runs, you can probably compare them one by one to the rsr and calculate the time difference. Just a thought.

The EVO is best for beginners. Its high acceleration helps recovering from collisions on traffic and its grip helps when you go off track. The acceleration also really helps doing 180s when there's police smelling up your butt, as you can change direction much faster as the grip and acceleration are vital factors when changing direction with the police hitting on your car. But, if you can control the RSR, avoid traffic, stay on track and easily lose the police, chances are, you'll get along quite well with the RSR

Unless you're using it at the exact same time and same part of the race it creates a lot of variables. You should do this test or future tests without it. you kind of answered your own statment. In the end it is not the car. it is the driver. If the Evo does better at launch , and has an ability to land from a jump faster then that shows that the evo is best suited for tracks with more jumps and more sharp turns . (like u turns and L turns) The RSR may have good handling but in the end it comes to down to the driver. I have beaten RSR 400+ drivers on my 390 Rx7 simply because people don't know how to properly corner. Most people just wants to raise on the oval race track because it takes 0 skill to race there.

From what I remember, the Pista is a very balanced car. Good acceleration, good cornering, good handling, etc. it isn’t amazing in any category but it isn’t bad in any category either. It’s just “good”.

Militia Gaming Community I would love to see you back and test it. I figured it was somewhere around 6-8 on top cars only using one best time per car if that makes sense . After live tuning it a bit it’s just so stable and strong everywhere. The downside is the acceleration beyond 150 or so is a tick behind the top cars. You can feel it but it’s not major yet enough to keep it from being higher. It also seems to really like nos up top to help narrow the gap with top cars. This is all just based on feel and I haven’t tested a thing. 😂

Militia, engine or car doesnt matter. You can beat the best engined RSR with the second best engined EVO if you are skilled. Skill matters. Depends what people prefer or are comfortable with.

Using the RSR just seems too easy and sucks the fun out of the game. When me and a friend did a race and he was just starting out I actually DOWNGRADED my nissan skyline into the dirt so I'd actually be challenged. I never had a more fun race in all my days playing need for speed than those set of street races me and that friend did and were neck and neck.(i downgraded my car because he was barely starting out and I was already rep 50 btw). Just simply demolishing your opponents with the best car in the game is just a filthy tactic and which is exactly why I stick with my ford mustang, my starting car, and my nissan skyline is because they're not the best cars in the game but they're not the absolute worst. Playing online is fun when it's challenging and you're opponent is near equal to you.

The evo is hands down my favorite car due to personal preference and it performs pretty well. But I know the rsr is much faster, Ive used both n managed to get very smooth runs. Rsr wins every time but I always go back to the evo for everything because it’s what makes the game fun for me n it’s what I prefer. Rsr is still king on the track tho! Thought I might just add my times. I’m not the best driver but I’m getting the hang of it. My evo time is 2:42 and 2:36 with the rsr both times are on sonic :)

I have no idea how you manage to get so fast on Aerion. I started playing a few weeks ago, learned everything I could, observed your lines, and still my best time on Aerion with the RSR is 2:51:58. My experience with the RSR in Heat has always been the same no matter what I use to try and fight it. I get a fantastic head start, but The second the straight becomes long enough to getup into 220+ MPH for an extended period or as soon as cornering comes in, the RSR just blows past you and you're never catching it unless the RSR driver screws up big time. Beat my Personal Record on Sonic using the Evo IX by over a second over my previous one, and still finished nearly 4 seconds behind an RSR who didn't even bother making the shortcut. Pretty telling right there. As long as the RSR driver has half a clue how to drive, very little chance for you.

I always lap people in my rsr, and it's not even fully upgraded. Lol. I've lost to a couple of higher level players (I'm only level 20), but the majority of them I spank with my sleeper. Can't get too attached tho, because yhay quickly changes when I use the DB11 Aston Martin or something else. Haha. Huge difference in the driving experience. Manageable, but different as the Aston Martin doesn't pick up at corners like the rsr, or doesn't excel on the straight aways either. I'm a newbie, but your earlier video had me consider the rsr, and I must thank you. It has been fun and is the best of my four cars.

I never use the rsr. It takes no skill to drive and makes it boring to drive. My best car is the Volvo 242. Which I only use when people drive rsr,f40,or ford gt. I run alot of different cars just for the extra challenge

Now, use whatever car flows your boat I ain't hating on it. Just be aware that any driver that can ACTUALLY drive an Rsr has a very high chance in beating you in your car if you keep up that same mentality.

@Jlz_lian I do do quite well with my 242 and I'm not bashing rsr drivers. Like I said its just boring to drive a car that basically drives it self and its not just the rsr there a few others. I like to challenge myself.

I just got my crew to 50 with my son. We were at like 42 when I added him and we just grinded and grinded to be able to purchase the FXX K EVO. To be honest I wish the evo was better and I actually prefer the PISTA to it. Do the grind for the PISTA it’s so worth it.

A little late to the party, I got the game on sale. So I agree with Triggers first statement, My personal fav car is the Ford GT. Playing Online i usually smoke the RSR in my GT and it all comes down to driver skill. RSR is superior in almost all regards except the launch than the EVO. so yeah

Now the rsr is the faster but does not mean it can beaten. There are many cars than can beat it but at the end of the day it always faster. As example on sonic I got 2 minutes 39 seconds and the rsr 2 minutes 37 seconds. So thanks for making this video

You know what, if EA stops sticking to the mantra of "older is better", then the RSR won't even be in the top 10 fastest. Seriously, this kind of thinking is what brings the misconception to the real world that older cars are 100% better in any way when in fact shit breaks, maintenance would be horribly expensive, and the colossal amount of money to tune it to make it compete against a modern car. EA should stop treating super and hypercars like rich boys' toys and make them truly "hyper". They are called hypercars for a reason. I know this ain't a simulator but come on, give the modern cars the respect they deserve. Surely even a 1990's 993 Carrera can leave an 70's 911 RSR in the dust. I love Porsches but I do agree that the RSR should be nerfed and make it drive like a classic 911, that will make noobs give up because of its classic RR layout oversteer problem. That's how the 911 RSR should be, a car with a very high skill ceiling that only a few can reach. The Evo 9 is something I find really fun to drive, and it also helped me get the Ultimate+ parts because of its agility, durability, and speed. In conclusion, I love both cars but the RSR should definitely get a nerf.

I tried both when I was a beginner. Here’s my thoughts : - Evo IX has faster of-the-line Accel (AWD power baby 😂) but way WAY harder handling (AWD understeer) - 911 is easier and more forgiving Its all about the skill. Evo’s max potential levels it higher than the 911 but only if you got the skills

Based on the data from this video the actual conclusion is: Evo IX is the faster car but the SRS is the best for racing with. BEing fater just means you have better acceleration and top speed, it doesn't mean it is good for races were breaking and turning are variable.

I don't understand the confusion. Speed (As in the fastest) is objective. If you ask yourself what's the sweetest thing in the world, the right answer would be thaumatin. If someone else says cake is sweeter, because, for example it has better flavor, more variety, it's easier to eat, or because an overwhelming majority of people like cake more as a dessert. It does not make cake the sweetest thing in the world. Tastier than thaumatin? Yes. More practical? Yes. But it doesn't make it the sweetest. At 2:47 you said that drag racing (the best option to measure *speed* imho) is rsr's weakness. Does it or does it not make it a slower car then the evo? I think it does.
