One of the most easiest and the tastiest of the Indian sweets is Gulab Jamun and today I'm sharing home-made milk powder Gulab jamun
INSTANT GULAB JAMUN & KAALA JAMUN
Gulab jamun;-
In a bowl add 100 g of milk powder
Add 200 g of all purpose flour
Add 3 g of soda and mix it.
Now add pinch of salt
20 g of ghee and mix it well.
Now add some water and mix it into a soft dough.
And rest it for 10 minutes.
In a pan add 3 cups of sugar
Add 1 ½ cups of water
Add 2 drops of lime juice
And make sugar syrup.
Now take some dough and
Make some balls.
Then fry in hot oil in a slow flame.
Now transfer in to sugar syrup bowl.
Add 1 tsp of cardamom powder
Add 1 tsp of rose essence
And rest it for 10 minutes.
Kala jamun;-
Take some milk khoya mixture
Add pinch of cardamom powder
Add 1 tsp of chopped almonds
Add 1 tsp of chopped pista
Add pinch of saffron water
And mix it nicely.
In a milk khoya mixture add little Red Colour
Khoya mixture and make round balls.
Then make bullet shape.
Fry in low heat oil on a low flame.
Fry it till it gets nice colour
And rest it for 10 minutes.

dear chef, thanks for the recipe. Maine jab dough tayaar kiya to wo kafi sticky ho gaya tha, i was unable to handle it.. Kuch time k liye set hone ko chora to wo dry feel hone laga jamun banane ki kosis ki to wo crack free shape nahi le sake. Fir maine thoda sa paani aur add kiya to dough geela hone laga, maine usko knead kiya, fir b dry laha to aur pani daal k knead kiha abhi b crack free shape nahi le rahe the gulab jamun to maine thoda maida aur add karke knead kiya, fir crack free shape aane laga... but fry karne k baad gulab jamuns bahut hard ho gaye unhone to chasni pi hi nahi 🙁 fir majboor hokar chasni muje pini padi 😂😂 please suggest where did I went wrong

Can make it also using egg and milk powder, instead of maida. Turns out beautifully. Used to make it in Libya.

Hi there its very useful tip for you when ever you going to fry any sweet like gulab jamun first take pinch of dough and put in a oil if your dough pops up your oil is over heated if dough comes slowly up after some time then it was ready to fry hop done the answer ( SHUKRIYA )

I tried it bt as the quantity of flour was more than the milk powder the gulab jamun was not perfect n taste was not good u should take milk powder more than the flour

I'm sure that i don't want to consume that oil after using 2 times I give it to my cook or maid they r too happy to use it like to fry fish etc at the max u will loose 70 or 80 rupees.... it's better than buying sweet 😉

When fried on high heat, they quickly get nice color from outside but become hard inside in the core. Next time fry them in hot oil but lowest flame setting of ur gas. It may take 3 to 5 mins depending on the jamun size to fry well. I only learnt this after few failed attempts.
