Just something to point out, for if you are confused why the oat milk doesn't taste as sweet as store-bought (even no added sugar store-bought) - it's because those companies use an enzyme on the oat milk, which breaks down some of the carbs in the oats into sugars, making it sweeter on the pallet, while still technically not adding any extra sugar. Not sure how easy it is to buy the enzyme

Has a very big flaw it's great don't get me wrong .Thing is after you clean it eventually a mold smell starts to lingur if you smell top of machine were lit is . Also look under the plastic lid rim and remove plastic top it gets stuff in it that then molds .Have used the bicarb cleaner aswell but it still comes back . I leave lid off when not in use seems to help bit.

Interesting product! I just started to make soy yogurt in the instantpot and (in theory ) you need milk that is only water and soybeans which is hard to find and it ain't cheap. Would be curious if it holds up for a year.

I have the Chef Wave soy milk maker, and I LOVE it. I will say I still run my Almond milk thru a nut bag.... I love that my machine has an automatic cleaning cycle PLUS an extra sanitize cycle 💖💖 I tried walnut milk, almond milk and soy milk so far. The soy milk I use to make yogurt in my instant pot.

my vitamix says to clean it by putting dish soap and warm-hot water into the beaker and then running the unit for a little while--easiest way to clean a blender i've ever heard of...you don't even have to take it all the way apart!

The oat milk really wasn’t slimey? Does it use the same process for all?
@VeganAsFork10 ай бұрын
Yes the same process for all - the oat milk was great! Not slimy

thank you--the other video on milky plant that i saw was basically an ad, so seeing a real person use it really helps! please let me know when you make soy milk--thanks! :) (i make cashew milk in a blender when i make it--i don't strain it at all.)

Great product, I’d like to get one in the near future. Have you seen the Ninja Creami? You can make vegan or non vegan ice cream, sorbet, gelato, in minutes. I recently bought one and make some everyday. I love it.

What? I am guessing that you make these at home 🏡 because I have never seen corn milk in the grocery. Do you have a milk maker, or vitamix? I am using soy milk pretty much exclusively because it is the only thing that works in coffee for me. I have a soybella but never use it. I dont think i would use this 400 dollar machine either. Westsoy for me. Or I use my vitamix to make a quickie oat milk with an old fashioned nut milk bag. Takes about 3 mn. I do find that I have to mix in a little cashew butter though and I am watching my overt fats rn. Also, pistachio milk is delicious!

@1auntievenom I want to try soy milk. Bit never have, I'll buy some soak, cook themI probably save the skin. Then oip it into my instant pot blender could probably cook the soybeans in it, it heats up to 210° F High soeed delyxe by Instant Pot blevndverth,at blender I've e had since 2018!I ca. Even make tahini from sesame seeds, cream cheese from that . I'm wanting to try playing with okara . So that means. Soak, them cook the beans,I'm no5 a fan ogf blender and pour thru a fine mesh strainer , not a fan of nut milk bags. Corn milk is great with making a lush creamy Corn Chowder. I'm also trying a walnut milk soon.

@cherylshort5005 that's really cool. I love my vitamix which makes soup too but If I didn't, I would have to look into that blender.

$340 and all it does is make plant milk? "This machine is basically just a Vitamix"? So you are saying that it can also do all the other things a Vitamix can do at about the same price? You might want to reword that claim because it doesn't even come close to a Vitamix and I doubt it will last as long. I had my first Vitamix for 25 years! You can make cashew milk in a Vitamix and you won't even have to strain it and it will take less than a minute. As another poster said, put warm water in the Vitamix with a couple of drops of soap and run it for 30 to 60 seconds and it's clean.
