I've been getting a pain in my forearms when doing pull-ups and have been researching to figure out what it is, but I haven't found anything that seems right so far. The pain is actually fairly high up on the forearm, mostly toward the ulnar side on the outside of the forearm, from just below the wrist to about halfway down the forearm. I don't feel pain towards the elbow, nor on the inside of the forearm at all. It either doesn't occur at all or is very minor in basically every exercise except a pull-up, where it becomes very prominent after releasing my grip. Similar movements cause this either very little or not at all, which is strange because I can lift weights similar to my bodyweight with no issue; for example, a chin-up (palms supinated of course) causes no issues, but pronated becomes painful, again, becoming very significant when I release the tension of my grip. Do you have ideas of what's causing this, or why it seems to be mostly restricted particularly to a pull-up movement?

Two things one is tennis elbow second one is involvement of ulner nerve

Lateral epicondylitis, or tennis elbow, is swelling or tearing of the tendons that bend your wrist backward away from your palm. It's caused by repetitive motion of the forearm muscles, which attach to the outside of your elbow. The muscles and tendons become sore from excessive strain.👍

Why wrist extensors overactive?
@Pathologyformedicalstudents3 жыл бұрын
@@HUMAN28284 as result of repetitive wrist extension as if you type a lot on computers playing tennis so you have to perform back hand technique or may be due to muscle weakness or suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome all of these can cause inflammation in the tendon resulting in wrist tendonopathy According to my knowledge and what i have learned until now
