Milledgeville Police investigate deaths of two people found in home

A welfare check Thursday morning in Milledgeville led to a police investigation after officers discovered two bodies inside a home, according to a Facebook post from the Milledgeville Police Department. They say officers responded to the residence on the 200 block of Roberts Street around 9:25 a.m. and found two bodies: one in the living room and another in the hallway. Police say the cause of death is unknown, and detectives are processing the scene.
