I'm looking for reviews for this kit for one month or so. Now, i have decided to order it. It's my first kit ever and i'm super excited man. Did you connected to PC with AD2(the bonus free item)? Did work fine? Are you planing make another video talking about some configurations about the kit especially about hit hat configuration and that stuff? Great video!

The kit works lovely with addictive drums once you sort out latency (quite easy to do). I don’t actually get to keep the kit so a follow up video maybe difficult unless I decide to keep the kit myself. I didn’t want to upgrade the firmware due to the fact of sending the kit back so tampered as little as possible. I’m sure someone will have a fix for it in here.

Is it way louder than other, Mesh headed E Kits around?? Just 'cause of the Shell's and so on... Y'know i live in an Appartment and we had a three year old Child.... Would you recommend it? Hey, thanks for the comment. This was my first ever try on an acoustic sized electric drum kit and I actually found the acoustic sound quieter than most. The cymbals are probably the loudest part, which is the equivalent to playing on a desk with sticks. Only thing I am always cautious of in apartments is transfer sound from the feet to the floor. The stomping will always sound louder to those below than can be heard in the room from time to time. Hope this helps.

im sure they ship all over the world. i Asked a couple of years ago when i was thinking about moving to Brazil, and they said no problem shipping to Brazil, so i guess US would be no problem.

I've order from Thomann, it was quick and easy. The only thing that I ran into was the power supply wasn't the correct plug for American standard. So you would need an adapter

This kit is appealing especially for that black sparkle finish, the one thing that bothers me is that the kick is only 18", i wish they did this wrap in the MPS-1000 series ehich has the 20" kick, it actually looks more premium than the grey, white and natural finishes the 1000 comes in. My issue is that the smaller kick limits the height the toms can sit at. It seems very low playing. I like my cymbals forehead level and toms at chest height.

Depends what you want. If you have room for a full kit then this one. If you are limited to space the either the 850 or nitro.

I think I’d stay away from the Nitro Pro, just get a Nitro Max if you’re picking a Nitro kit. Because you’re still getting thin flimsy cymbals and a module that dates like 7 years ago (the sounds themselves are older I think). Considering the Millenium is roughly only $175 more expensive, the Millennium seems like the better deal.

I just sold my Nitro Max Kit for 2 reasons, the first is that it was flimsy and I was constantly tightening the kit after a couple of energetic plays it was loose every time and the second reason is the audio out.. I found the quality of the output was not great in regards to each pad, I could set up perfectly for headphones but an external speaker it sounded so unbalanced. I previously had a TourTech and that sounded amazing with the same headphones and external speaker. I'm now looking at the Millennium range to try something new and after my racking experience with nitro this kit really appeals to me.

This may be a great budget friendly e-kit, but...The sounds are only ok and not great, and then if you play too fast the sound is all jumbled. The real problem is if you live in the USA. With all the import fees and taxes, this kit is no longer budget friendly, and there are better e-kits in the United States for about the sane cost as getting a Millennium kit. This was a good review video of the kit, but I can not recommend it if you live in the United States as it is no longer budget friendly.

It really is a fantastic kit for the money. I don’t know about shipping to the US so will take your word for it. Any e drum kits built in sounds under 2 thousand will always be hit or miss. I wouldn’t say a kit like this would be great for live performances but, it’s perfect as a near full size practice kit for any seasoned drummer or beginner. A more seasoned player wouldn’t probably mind spending a lot more on an e kit if they intend to use it live. Thanks for the great comment and glad you liked the review. I would love to get my hands on a Simmons soon too.

It’s never going to compete with higher end kits and it’s not meant to. Based off of what it can actually do, the sizing and how it plays though is on another level at the price point it’s at. If you want it to sound realistic on a budget and you caught the offer of the free drum library. Hook it up via usb and there you have it.

@@JasonSayersDrums Not exactly. I have no idea how good the midi censors are on the pads but from what I can hear I would be surprised if the velocity isn't divided in 10's.
