Millet Noodles are everywhere these days! I have myself seen through a ton of these brands that look so exciting on the front, but the moment I check the ingredients, I keep them back on the shelves :-(
Please check these three points
1. Does it contain Maida? - Not worth the purchase and the extra price if it contains Maida, also misleadingly called Wheat flour.
2. What % of Millet does it contain? 5%, 10%, 20% Millet? How much? Buy a brand that transparently writes how much % millet it contains
3. Cut down the frequency as much as possible - It all looks good now, we think its healthy! But soon you ll start finding your kids only demanding noodles all the time and rejecting all other good stuff you cook at home.
P.S. Being a food brand owner myself, I unfortunately cant call out on the names of food companies that are mis-leading. But I am hoping these pointers will help you make the best decision for your children.
Regards,
Shalini.

@@rinudhas2995myth? Please learn science first. Whole wheat or atta has a lot of nutritional benefits, including fiber. It regulates blood sugar while the maida raises bs. See the fiber content per 100gm itself, aata has like 6x more fiber, less carbs, more protein. Aata has far lower glycemic index. Please do your research

Is there any brand which don't add maida Or gluten in millet noodles

Millets by themselves do not have gluten. So they cannot be extruded for long lengths like noodles. (without mixing with wheat flour). So yes, any brand who has come up with Millet NOODLES, has to mix some binding flour. Now how much proportion of millet flour plus wheat flour is what makes the difference. Now that wheat flour need not be Maida (ULTRA REFINED wheat flour). They can also use proper UNREFINED wheat flour.

@@dujjansingh2222 I know that but maida don't contain fibres, vitamins and iron like normal wheat flour. Maida is not healthy but wheat flour is healthy and it can be consumed everyday without any problem.
