The documentary was great finally we were able to hear the real story. A sad story. Two young, gifted, talented, gorgeous young men who barely spoke English that had a dream and met a snake. Frank had them sign a contract written in German, Fab wasn't fluent in German. Neither had legal representation, or management or agents. Both Fab and Rob could sing and dance and were amazing dancers. But Frank used, abused, made millions off of them then threw them under the bus. It cost a precious life (Rob) and both lives of what could have been. I am so glad to see Fab pick up his life, move forward and sing he has a beautiful voice and stay so positive. I loved Milli Vanilli's music back in the day and still love it in 2023. Much love.❤

I watched the documentary and boy it was real and intense. The journey of Rob and Fab was amazing yet heartbreaking. We as fans were just as bad as those executives who set them up to take the fall the fans turned towards them and those who were to blame were overlooked while Rob and Fab were left alone because to them(excels.) money was more valuable than the lives of these 2 guys. I never blamed them for not getting the opportunity to sing because they obviously can do that! The one who played them should be held accountable as does Clive Davis Thank you Fabrice for sharing yours and Robs experience Keep sharing singing. This is a must see✌️❤️R.I.P Rob I still listen to blame it on the rain and see you at your best heavenly love

I will forever & always support Rob & Fab as Milli Vanilli, they were a part of my epic 80's childhood , yes they didn't sing the songs but that doesn't change how their image, & performances made me feel as a child, that happy nostalgic feeling is worth more than gold, & they will always play a part in that magical feeling for me, the documentary was great, & I'll be watching it again 💖

@@jeanandre6998 Not all and it will never be all. After everything...I still listened to MilliVanilli, though I didn't know the whole truth of what happened to them until recently. Their fans as a whole became flying monkeys for those snakes frank, Clive and all the rest, that now corrupt the music industry today. I share the old and new music, along with the whole story to younger generations. Let the truth be told.

Like Boney M (whose lead male singer also didn't sing), it really doesn't matter they didnt sing because the music was and still is amazing :). Rob and Fab put on an amazing show - without their looks, dancing, style, stage presence and charisma, Milli Vanilli would never have worked. Anyone who suggests they didn't contribute to the success of the music is just a hater, MV was fabulous! RIP Rob xo

What is sad is Fab Morvan can really sing. He has a KZbin channel. And he is so nice in person.
@beyourself2444 Жыл бұрын
Oh please, they contributed sure, as did the actual singers but it matters because the fraud they helped to perpetuate stole glory from other singers who actually sang e.g. they received best new artiste instead of Soul II Soul, Tone Loc and Neneh Cherry. If those artists won their careers and trajectory in the industry would have been different… so it matters
@KylieMackLA Жыл бұрын
@@beyourself2444 I'm not saying they deserved to get the award - unless it was a production award of course. So many hitmakters were lip synching back then; C & C Music Factory, Black Box, Real McCoy, Seduction etc. Then today we have performers like JLo who is literally singing over Ashanti's vocals in one of her tracks. So many artists today can't actually sing their own songs live - if they're dancing their a** off then I understand lip-syncing, understandably Pink often sings over HER OWN vocals when she's hanging upside down on a trapeze, 80 feet in the air. But some literally can't sing their own sings even if standing stationary - because its not their voice on the track/s. (EDITED TO ADD: The Grammy was actually given to the real MV singers, not sure if you're aware of that).

Look these 2 young men Rob and Fab, were exploited and exposed, yet they didn’t want to Lip Sync and yet the charade was already afoot. Frank Ferrier did this with other artists, not any of the Masterminds were blamed, only Rob and Fab became the scapegoats of this facade. I wish Fab nothing but the best, and guess what he CAN SING. ❤😊
