I think this is very helpful but what about us creators who have more experience than we need doing free videos for brands but just don’t have a huge follower count engagement rate. When I do this formula, it adds up to about four dollars where you have your 120 in your Example. What do we do then? I’m tired of working for free.

For the 16 videos, is this over a 30-28 day time period? The number I came up with is way too much if I’m using the total views for 16-videos (I push one a week) over the last three months-that time period seems too long to take the number of views into account for this formula. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to get $47K from a brand but there must a step missing.

Love your content! I tried to follow along and my average views for the last 16 videos is roughly 14k. I have 1.9k subscribers, so my engagement rate is ~7.3. 14k x 7.3 means I should be charging over 100k. I feel like I'm doing something wrong!

I saw another similar formula and it’s based on your videos performance over the last 30 days. I just did the math again and it makes more sense. Take the 16 videos performance from the last 30 days (I got this from the studio app) then divide that by 16 videos (I did 15 because the studio apps provides the views for 15 videos in 28 days). This number makes more sense now!

@@orrganizedbooks9998 The formula might not work for everyone! I’ve noticed it doesn’t work well if you include a viral video in your calculations. So if one of the last 16 videos you posted went viral and has waaay more views than your average video, it skews the number a lot! 🫢

Hi! It depends on the niche, channel size, industry, etc! For KZbin between 1%-5% engagement is average! So you’d be well above that ☺️

Love that you mentioned a rush turnaround fee! Didn't take the collab request but a 15 day turn around time was requested and I was thinking wow, that's a lot to ask of a DIY channel. Anyone who does DIY projects know that things don't always go as planned and a time crunch like that can be a lot of pressure. Good to know that can be charged!
