Ingredients CAKE 1½ cups unsalted butter, room temperature (3 sticks) 3 cups granulated sugar 5 large eggs, room temperature 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, (See note about extracts) ½ teaspoon almond extract ½ teaspoon lemon extract ½ teaspoon coconut extract 3 cups all-purpose flour, (sifted, spooned into measuring cup and leveled) 1 cup whole milk GLAZE (double if you want to cover entire cake) 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted 2 tablespoons melted butter ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract ⅛ teaspoon lemon extract ⅛ teaspoon coconut extract ⅛ teaspoon almond extract salt, pinch 2-2½ tablespoons milk (may need more or less)

So I decided to make it this morning. Oh, my word! The cake was incredible. My husband and I enjoyed eating it. In fact, my entire family enjoyed eating this fabulous, delicious, moist, and oh so soft cake. Only four slices are left, and by tomorrow, those slices will no longer be. Three minutes is not long enough to mix. U should not hear the sugar on the bottom of the pan. Try 8 minutes creaming butter with sugar
