Agreed it makes it so much easier to skip them entirely!
@HairyTornado7 ай бұрын
From a creator standpoint, you’re shooting yourself in the foot. It encourages people to skip the ad and if no one watches it, no one buys the product or service and the company won’t sponsor again. KZbin content is 100% free for viewers. If you truly enjoy a certain creator, the best way to “pay them back” for all the free content you’ve enjoyed is to sit through a 20 second ad without skipping, and maybe even taking advantage of the discount offer they have if the product or service they are offering matches with your needs and budget. :)

Type 1 diabetic here. 30 year veteran of this disease. Diabetes in a cup drinks are so good. Someone get my insulin...
@kellicia76597 ай бұрын
I agree. I’m over people making jokes/ false allocations with diabetes. What they are referring to is type 2 diabetes not Type 1. Type 1 is unavoidable and is an autoimmune condition where literally your body attacks itself and you no longer make bata cells which creates insulin in your pancreas. Type 2 diabetes is when you weaken your pancreas and it cannot keep up because of lifestyle choices like eating too many carbs in a long period of time. I wish they could call it something else to separate the differences. But life goes on and we’ll keep blousing. I heard a metaphor the other day that’s perfect “Having type 1 diabetes is like playing the game of life on hard mode!” Rant over. This episode was great! I listen to Andre quite often and never knew his back story. It was a great show and he makes it extra fun and nerdy with his Pokémon references and Magic!

George! I'm about halfway through your new book, good stuff. We're completely debt free - thanks Ramsey Solutions and the baby steps! Wanted to say the Student Loan portion, where you recommend we watched the show, "Borrowed Future" - I watched it. All high school kids in America should watch that. If I had seen that BEFORE I went to college, I would have taken out zero student loans! Cheers!

The basics are timeless and will always serve us well. It's important to appreciate the simple things in life and not get caught up in the endless cycle of materialism. It's never too late to simplify and live a more fulfilling life. "Live below your spending ability and enjoy a better future" Like I think you said Andrei "Invest first for freedom and everything else will follow"

For crypto, you basically have to be a computer scientist to understand it. Even most computer scientists don’t have a full understanding. It has great niche applications for people who are anti centralization in government or corporate entities. I love the idea, and I hate the crowds that buy into it

My brother told me a story the other day he was doing stone work around ramsey solutions, and he looked up and there was this older bald guy and his wife looking at his work and told him that he was doing a great job. They left, and he never saw them again until he watched dave ramsey on youtube then he saw dave again. He knew he was at ramsey solutions but didnt put two and two together that that might be the Founder. Pretty cool story of dave being a normal guy, thanking people doing manual labor on his property

One of your best episodes yet. 1) he had zero debt his entire life 2) he is responsible to use credit cards properly. NEVER carry over unpaid month to month. 3) if you can't afford to pay for it in your bank account, dont use a credit card for it. Example: if you have a $3k credit limit, then use a credit card but always have 3k in your checking account. Investing 4% ROI calculations. KZbin $2/hr for the first year, just getting better and better at content. The last 3 months made 90% of KZbin revenue. Dutch bros coffee: white chocolate (small) and Hazelnut Nitro cold brew. Sponsored by Ramsey Solutions.
