I can't even begin to tell people just how awesome it is to not have debt. You simply can't put a price tag on peace of mind.

Ugh I can’t wait to be debt free, I’m a single mom of 3 kiddos- 8,6,3… and I’m working hard to pay my debt off. It’s definitely tough to tell no to my kids right now on everything they want to buy lol but I also make sure to explain to them my situation with money right now and trying to teach them to never be in my spot when they’re older, and the importance of money…. But I’m almost there 😊 like Dave says it’s only for a season.. I’m excited to almost be at the finish line 🎉

He is right. I hated my job for awhile because I hate my car payment. The car payment forced me to work and I started to resent both the car and my work

One of the best feelings in the world is identifying a problem and having the perfect tool for the job to fix that problem. Could be your problem or someone elses. The moral of the story is that I've never regretted spending money on quality tools!

I love the description Arthur gives of making your own safety net for taking more career risk. And this comment, "A lot of people stay in lives of quiet desperation...because they're mortgaged up to the hilt." Side note: the Tag Monaco is so nice looking. Good choice Mr. Brooks! It just seems to big for my wrist. EDM here and nearly weird, hoping to make BS7 within 2 years.

Credit cards on not totally evil. If you pay off the balance each month, you are OK. If someone hacks your debit card, you will have considerable trouble getting the bank to reimburse you. With a credit card, the credit card company will refund your money. Lastly, credit cards can also serve as receipts for tax purposes.

Great episode George and Arthur!! I happen to be in a position to be speaking to people regularly, every week, who are located in an objectively "terrible" place. Yet, they have worked hard to understand the concept of focusing on their own lives, not everything that is happening around them that they cannot control. They can be happy. I think they are "happier" than many people in our legacy western countries that are supposed to be 1st world in all respects. This concept, so difficult for so many, is perhaps the most important thing a person can learn about controlling their emotions and owning their lives as much as possible, IMO.

First, is that car paid for, Mr. Kamel? LOL Instead of thinking Good Debt and Bad Debt, I always thought of debt in two ways: Bad Debt and "Debt Not as Bad as Bad Debt!" I definitely agree that any debt as Good Debt is a misnomer.

Not everyone! The past 4 years have been exceptional for us and our family! Our salary has increased, our portfolio is up significantly, and our happiness is at an all time high! Now, it was the same the 4 years before the previous 4. What's that mean? The old white guy in the White House didn't make a difference to how we live! 🤷🤣

Forgiving morality Bankruptcy is an available tool to use as I have done twice . The ramifications and taboo talk of them are very exaggerated. Unsecured creditors are as complicit as one who uses Chapter 7 to their benefit. As I said, got to forgive the morality but Bankruptcy makes no person a waste troll. It's a tool , always has been.

As a beginner investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Kristine Lynn Weber is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $100k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.

Great interview, but considering that one party wants to teach children they can change their *** in school. They actually already do that. Voting to keep that out of schools is indeed important and I will be happy not having to fight with my child's school about it in the future if he isn't homeschooled.

Was happy when you brought up criticisms of the causality between giving and earning more, but you ended up using a strawman "tithing bad" comment instead of having him clarify the directionality. Wish you would address this. Maybe next time 😅
