Professors and scientists are among the North Korean elite treated to a variety of perks, paid for by Kim Jong Un's regime. CNN's Will Ripley reports.

How many murders were there in Baltimore over the Memorial Day weekend: 12 people have been killed, 27 “THUGS" were shot. 35 people have been killed so far in May, the first time the city has had 30 homicides in a month since 1999. With a week remaining, it's on the verge of being the most violent month in more than a decade. No month in the last 15 years has had more than 33 killings. There have been 108 homicides in the city this year. This year Baltimore might become the murder capital of the nation. It's quite likely it will pass Detroit in #'s of homicides, at least under the current rate of 1.4 murders per day (42 homicides in the last 30 days!!). It seems obvious to me that Black Lives ONLY and exclusively seem to matter when a cop or white person are involved. Am I wrong? Go figure….. Can CNN please ask Baltimore, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake how these people are getting guns? Can Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby try and at least allow the law abiding citizens of Maryland to carry concealed weapons. To bad CNN, The Mayor and Obama are more worried about climate change/North Korean elite than Baltimore peoples lives.

i know this was 5 years ago but you're not considering a lot of things here. 1. they probably already did make a news report on it and you're simply just ignoring that they did 2. getting into north korea is fucking difficult and expensive and rare so of course they're going to focus a lot on a once-in-a-century event. 3. this is a case of confirmation bias

North Korea is doing what is right for their economy at the moment. If they ever wish to uphold power, and prevent an attempt of overthrowing the government, they need to show the North Korea that they are growing economically. (In-fact they grew with 3,9% in GDP despite sanctions) Know that North Korea, and Kim Jong Un cares for it's people, and know that the money to make this place was NOT taken from the starving people. They don't even pay tax in the first place. Do i agree that many people are starving and suffering in North Korea? Yes! Do i agree that North Korea is not a good country to live in? Yes! Do i agree that CNN makes it look like they're starving their people on purpose? Yes! North Korea fights hard... They face deadly sanctions and threats. Instead of threatening North Korea even more, forcing them to invest more money into the nuclear weaponry. If they would help North Korea grow, and stop the sanctions, the country's morale would increase. Then strict laws and propaganda wouldn't be necessary due to the country growing economically, so the government may dare to show the outside world. Think about a reunion! Such comes NOT with sanctions, - Rather teamwork!
@Andy6969ful4 ай бұрын
I'm sorry but the difference between North Korea and Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, the USA, the EU, Russia, and hundreds more are what exactly? The rich have always had perks and the poor have always been left behind so how is North Korea doing anything different? And the GOD figure of their former leader.. is different from people worshiping a Jew named Jesus Christ who lived thousands of years ago how exactly? Especially when Jesus ran around with his so called apostles who were always heavily armed so the way you're portraying this as something strange is really odd.
