I love this movie and this song. I watched this movie like a million times when I was like ages 4-9 now I'm 15. This reminds me of the simpler and happier times when I was a little kid and didn't have to worry about much. I just found the movie today and I haven't watched it in so long, I'm surprised it still works. Anyway, I will always love this movie, no matter how old I get.

I named one of the strays near me Milo. He used to come around for years with another stray, Esper. They both disappeared, sadly. I don’t think anything bad happened to them, though. They went missing at pretty much the same time so we think someone just loved them so much they took them in. Our lease prevented us from doing so, but we still fed and loved them and Milo and Esper would always come hang out with me when I had work to do in the yard.

The Adventures of Milo and Otis instantly became my favorite movie when my mom took me to see it in theatres way back then. This wonderful and catchy song by Dan Crow gave me my love for exploration and curiosity that in turn gave me a deep appreciation of the outdoors and nature. This is why I joined the Boy Scouts and eventually went on an expedition to Philmont Scout Reservation, probably my crowning achievement in thrill and adventure.

What makes you so sure it was a rumor? Do you realize that most producers and crew members admitted to animals being mauled by bears, pecked to death by pelicans, drowned, swallowed whole by a snake, frozen to death, thrown off a 100 ft cliff, and cats paws were even intentionally broken. Even the remaining animals were put down after they were done filming the movie. But sure, just wholesome memories. Sorry to break it to you, but this movie is NOT what you remember!

How do you think the director got a cat to limp? The entire movie is basically just footage of animals in distress. Any sane person can watch it and see that animals were clearly hurt to get those shots.
