Why does everyone seem to ignore that trump said he didn't want ILLEGAL immigrants, he said nothing about immigrants in general , he said ILLEGAL immigrants; stop ignoring the word ILLEGAL. There is a huge difference. Notice how all interviewers always ask the same thing about how Trump said he didn't "want immigrants" in USA, but intentionally leaving out the word ILLEGAL, which is exactly what he said. I'm baffled by this fact.

Because he has absolutely no plan, on paper or otherwise, about how to address the fact that it is insanely difficult to become a legal immigrant. So he wants to kick everyone out (who btw pay more in taxes than most of Trump's supporters) and have no way to let people in. That's basically a ban on legal immigration except for the wealthy/well-to-do.

+ShredPenguins Are you even listening to yourself? Do you realize the lack of knowledge you have on the issue we're discussing? ILLEGAL immigrants do not pay taxes because they CANNOT work LEGALLY, so they get paid (what we call) "under the table" (via CASH, to avoid being caught), which is BAD for the country as a whole. LEGAL immigrants have what's called a work visa (the good people in the process of becoming a legal citizen), so they do pay taxes; but again, those are LEGAL immigrants. Your argument is completely void, you're arguing blindly. EDIT: Not to mention the ILLEGAL immigrants that steal our citizen's SSN's to work "legally" and pay taxes (with ILLEGAL paperwork), which is a whole other issue at hand. Wake up; you're asleep defending something that hurts your country.

Western Civilisation was invented and developed by the people who lived in Europe and its satellite countries like US and Canada, and as it happens Europeans are of white race! So their culture IS white culture, just as the culture and civilisation which was invented and developed in East Asia by East Asian race of people (Chinese, Japanese, etc...) is called Asian culture and NOBODY suggests that they are racist or mean or evil if they consider their culture their own and an important part of their identity to the exclusion of others. Now that doesn't mean that a Westerner person cannot learn to eat with chopsticks, become a Buddhist, practice Japanese martial arts and play on Chinese musical instruments or learn to appreciate Japanese poetry in the original language! But that in no way makes Asian culture his own! It is just a subject of his interest and intense investigation and possibly admiration and great respect. But NOT HIS OWN CULTURE! I am sure ANY Asian would find it very flattering if a Westerner wants to learn and master aspects of their culture, but would be immensely insulted if the said Westerner after having mastered some aspects of their culture then arrogantly comes and informs them that from hence forth their culture is not their own and they should share all the credit and ownership of it with him and not even just with him alone but the whole of the people with non-Asian background and if he doesn't he is mean and racist and evil!!! People of color, including Italians who weren't "white" until 80 years ago, have always had to be PC to keep their jobs and sometimes save their lives. In less dire circumstances it's called being polite & thoughtful. It didn't seem to be a problem until a subset of "whites" had to start doing it. We're still deciding what to do with them, but if we give them citizenship, we are INVITING illegal immigration.
