Here is my thoughts on Milwaukee's 2839 15 gauge finish nailer compaired to metabo's 15 gauge finish nailer. Both are extremely well thought out. Milwaukee's being it about 3 years late to market over Metabo's, does have some quality refinement included. That being said you can not go wrong with either if you are already invested in a battery line. If i did not have either battery line, I would invest in the Milwaukee simply because of the M18 battery plaform and its a bit more refined as a nailer.

As I am watching this the Milwably is $120 more. If I had a collection of M18 batteries I would consider the paying more, but since I don't, it seems the Green one is the obvious choice for me.

Great review thanks Considered the Milwaukee but went with Metabo HPT as most of my MHPT framers and Brad nailers both pnuematic and cordless have all passed the test of time over 20+ yrs in some cases I use both Milwaukee and other colors but the Milwaukee bare tool still never goes below $299 and I got the MHPT kit for $249 kit (battery, charger , bag, glasses) plus an extra 3.0 battery

Metabo comes with a lifetime tool warranty which may not be important for commercial use but for me it is extremely important!

The gen 2 Milwaukee nailers look really good. I'm using DeWalt nailers currently but the Milwaukee have caught my eye for when replacement is required.

Wouldn't say Milwaukee are late to the market. They had a Gen1 version out for years, if anything Hikoki are late, they're due for an upgrade

In general Milwaukee is late to the market with their tools. Still waiting for a track saw from them or a 10" table saw as well. Milwaukee uses the same tech as Hikoki in their nailers. Hitachi/Hikoki have had their nailers on the market for years! I agree Hikoki needs to go a next generation though.

@@RenovationsandRepair you're correct that they're late to the party sometimes, but their products tend to be better because of this. As for the same tech, you're slightly wrong there. Hikoki used compressed air whereas Milwaukee used compressed Nitrogen. I think that if a Gen2 Hikoki comes out it will be phenomenal.

I heard metabo has 20/ years or a lifetime warranty but 1 yr repair replacement out of user error but after that year all normal wear use is not covered how has your experience w this brand been , have you needed to refill compressed air on the Hitachi or metabo hehe is it ease to accomplish or you need special gear ? Milwaukee for me has great warranty but I have no idea on how is the nail gun warranty like or refill of that nitrogen ?

I’d go the Milwaukee. I’ve used the metabo/hikoki guns and it’s annoying they stop working after1/2 battery
