All the people crying over snapon losing are the people who believed the snapon sales rep when he told them that snapon is the best tools ever made. They got shitty cause they got scammed. I'm a milwaukee fanboy but i also believe some other brands will out do other brands in certain tools. At the moment, milwaukee seem to be out doing other brands where it is needed.
@baileyhatfield42733 жыл бұрын
I had only the MIlwaukee 1/2 Midtorque, needed the high torque because rustbelt...i ordered it up after i got some cash in, and i kid you not, Snap on rep came like a week later showing off the new electric one. Guess he seen i had the mid torque. Yeah i'd rather not spend like 1k or some for a less warranty (i think simmilar power on some of the SUPER new ones) but just issues. Yeah milwaukee is the way to go.

@@baileyhatfield4273 first milwaukee tool i bought was the 2662-21 high torque, i fell in love with it as it undone every bolt i throw at it till the batteries started getting tired, replaced the batteries with a new 6ah high output and it brought the thing back to life, but i was getting a lil annoyed about how long the head was on it so i decided to finally upgrade to the M18FMTIWF12-0 mid-torque which is about 3 inchs shorter then the previous one and has the same amount of torque as well, So happy with it, Only thing this couldn't undo was a bloody honda harmonic balancer bolt. I have always looked at snapon as over priced Chinese crap and never bought any of there stuff. And I'm so happy i never did. 😁

I find it genuinely amazing that people are buying this Snap On tool. If you took the 18V 3/8s milwaukee gen 3 it would literally obliterate the Snap On. Advertised with 600ft-lbs of torque and the same size and voltage. It should be a crime selling tools that sad for a price that steep. Unacceptable, idc how good the dealers customer service is

That's very close to our stance as well. We're not haters, but we can't understand charging the ultra-premium price for getting dismal results. Thanks for watching.

I gotta say. I was a snapon fanboy for a long time. I got a wild hair and bought the Milwaukee 1/2 high torque and boy let me tell yah! That things hits harder then my snapon brushless 3/4 I paid double for! I didn’t care for the m12 like so I will stick to my 14.4v stuff. My get another stubby. I’ve seen the light and it’s Milwaukee from here on out 💪🏼💪🏼

@JBPlaysGames12 жыл бұрын
What's really sad, Is for what a 2 battery combo for the ct9010 costs, you are only maybe $150 short of what it would cost for the stubby kit with 2 batteries, an M18 mid torque kit with 2 batteries, and a 2767 high torque. If that isn't a sign that snap on is way overpriced idk what is.

You are exactly right. That's our beef with Snap-On. Charging crazy money for their powertools and they perform terrible. Thanks for watching.

@@Shoptoolreviews Appreciate you doing the testing! At some point, if you are going to crush some fanboy feelings it may be better to do it with gusto so Snapon gets an earful and comes back something actually competitive :) Plus aren't many snap-on customers used to getting abused already, maybe they like it...

I can't remember but doesn't the brushed snap-on have more power? I know my 14.4 snap-on brushed 3/8 does 140ft/tq and only reason I have it is for how thin it is and the trigger. I'm sad the snap-on went away from the paddel trigger. But always agreed Milwaukee's or most of these companies are a much better value then snap-on impacts. I worked for snap-on for a few months and it's sad.
@Shoptoolreviews3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure on the brushed model, but I don't think it's more powerful. The paddle trigger has never made it to the 18V tools, just the 14.4V. We would love to see the rocker trigger make it to more tools. Thanks for watching.

Man, I was gon go with the 1/2 but ill be getting the mid torque later down the road as well and it'll be 1/2. And I want my impact to be compatible with as much sockets I have. So ill probably get a 3/8 and the mid torque, a 1/2 is that a good idea? Or do you recommend 3/8 instead for the stubby? I'm fine for either one but I can't decide

My coworker just purchase that same snapon on this video and say $800. Then he saw my milwaukee and ask me about. And i told got this for $682 the high torque 1/2 (2767) and mid torque (2960) 3/8 charger and 2 xc 5.0 battery. He face was priceless. 😆 🤣

Great reviews and right on point about Snap on. I have been using their cordless crap for 20 + years because of the convenience of the weekly truck payment and this is why they could care less about quality and bang for the buck.

Hahaha, I love it. People definitely couldn’t fathom they spent 800 dollars on their epic 18V tool that got shredded by a small 12V tool that’s a 1/3rd of the price. When such things happen, people get frustrated and bash on tests to remain happy with their purchase. Cognitive dissonance to the max.

Lol i jus cant figure why ppl would spend 3.5x the price for snap on. Bigger, beefier, and less powerful and a ridiculous price. The stubby aint my favorite i prefer the makita xdt15z which is a powerhouse for its size but obviously the stubby is a powerhouse for its size too since its even smaller. Idc if the makita is a little bigger because its still compact and if i need more compact i just use the m12 right angle. And the makita feels awesome in the hand. I really dont like how the stubby feels in the hand. I use to have it but got rid of it
@baileyhatfield42733 жыл бұрын
I like it, for sure not a perfect tool for everyone, kind of has its own market. Makita seems to have some decent things coming out, not much of that around where i live, mostly dewalt, and then i can order or drive a bit to get milwaukee. They're more geared for well...most trades so that's why i picked them (automotive included). I watch torque test channel and some of them makitas are pretty nice.
@bossmanz283 жыл бұрын
@@baileyhatfield4273 yea i hear ya makita is def not readily available as much. Im im in the construction field myself primarily metal working so maybe thats why absolute smallest and with having a right impact works for me. Not really a fair comparison brushed vs brushless though. It doesn’t discount the price these are new. Then again I don’t buy my snap on power tools new so go figures. Their actually affordable when bought used and generally more so then similar milwaukees that won’t have a resale value.
