For continual use on high you would need 12 of the 12ah batteries and 8 super chargers, which would cost $4200. Also 22 batteries and 9 rapid chargers for $6,670 will give you continuous use per blower. Seems pretty steep, but I often use my gas blower for longer than 90 minutes in a single continuous use, let alone 30 minutes.

I currently use the Husqvarna 580BTS, it is quite heavy and loud, but , it's very powerful, and runs for at least an hour on a tankful, and takes seconds to refuel! Exactly how much does this kit cost? Not to mention all the extra batteries I would need for a full day's work?

Too bad all my m18 batteries failed and Milwaukee refused warranty even though 2 years old.. M12 failing too... Expect run time to be a fraction of what they say within a year.

Sorry to hear that. Crazy that all of them failed at the same time......Did you try warranty through where you bought them or did you go direct through Milwaukee website? The only cases I've seen claims turned down directly by Milwaukee is when the batteries failed due to water. This voids the warranty.

@@toolnut I had two M18 batteries that came with the string trimmer kit and a blower, both purchased within a few weeks of each other. By the 2nd season I was seeing half the run time. One is completely dead. Sent them into Milwaukee, they no longer keep registrations records, and without the original receipt they would not honor the warranty. I had one M12 replaced under warranty, the rest are past the 2 years that you get with M12. Most now come off the charger at 3 bars, and drop very quickly. Real shame, I loved my M12/M18 tools, but now I'd be hesitant to spend that much with how poor their batteries have been.

@@crzyworm623 Ahhh, yes receipts are required for any warranties

@crzyworm623 string trimmer draws a lot of power if your gonna use a lot you should have like 4-5 batteries and rotate them. Any lithium cell battery will degrade and they will do it faster if they are getting hot and being drained and charged all the time. I used all Milwaukee stuff from quik lok for 2 years of commercial mowing and no battery issues but I had quite a few batteries since I shopped sales for all the tools and most came with 1-2 batteries. If you use heavy drawing tool every day you should have battery for every day and just try to rotate them. If you do that you'll get years out of them. The m12 are the same but they have a lot of m12 tools that are hard on the smaller 12v batteries like heated gear it will run them to the point they hardly read voltage on a meter and it screws them up fast like 1 year cause constant cycling and killing the battery.

@@zack6892 Thanks for the reply, but as a residential user, my m18 saw a charge about once a week. Milwaukee should not be selling a tool to be "best in class power" if the batteries can't handle it. Your logic of having to buy 1000$ worth of batteries to rotate, is not much better than buying a new battery every 2 years. Would give me 8-10 years. (commercial use I understand your point) My m12 use is occasional use of their ratchet, an led light pin nailer, and small drivers for building cabinets/assembling furniture, not framing a house. I have 15 year old makita batteries and although the output is pretty poor, they still take a charge and can be used for low draw tools like hand lights. These M12 just die, refuse to take a charge.. I have one that is half charged right now, will run my tool, but will not take a charge. Probably because one cells went bad.
