I see your 5 3/8 blade and raise (or lower 😄) you one 3 3/8 blade that my tiny little makita saw uses!

Thank you for the video! I’m an artist/hobbyist and am looking for a lightweight saw to use for breaking down sheet goods at a low volume (say taking a few sheets of 1/2 or 3/4 plywood from 4x8 to 2x2 every couple of months). I don’t need power as much as clean cutting and reliability, would you say that sounds like an appropriate use of this saw?

Yeah I think so. Nice and lightweight and will rip through what you’re working with. Only downside on the M12 would be that battery longevity compared to a M18 bigger version.

@ speaking of batteries… I’ve noticed that you can get 2 4ah batteries for the same price as the single 5ah one… would you say that the difference in performance between the 4 and 5 means I would be happier with the 5 over the two 4s? I’ll be getting the kit so I’ll start with one 5ah battery, but any advice about which ones to acquire as backups would be appreciated!

@ bigger the better in my opinion on the 12 V stuff because it’s still super lightweight

I would love if Milwaukee made a (M12) version of the Makita HS301DZ 12V CXT

Hello sir, I have a new batch of polishing machines recently. Would you be interested in helping me test them?

This thing is terrible. Returned it today.

Why? It’s light weight and cuts wood. Were you trying to do m18 things with a m12?

M12 sucks, I use the 18v and DeWalt's 60v line. I'm more of a Makita guy

M12 has its place, I agree that I would never use 12V as a primary choice however, the M12 lineup is great for low power finish work and smaller tasks around the house. Also, the fact that it is so lightweight makes it very nice to work with on things that don’t require all the juice.

The M12s are great for their intended use. Anyone who says otherwise has either:1 Never used them or 2 are dumbasses expecting 18v+ performance.

Expecting 18v performance out of a m12 is very smart of u
