100% on point. As a divorced guy who has since re-married, he hits what a true committed relationship is built on. My wife and I have been married for 6yrs now and have never once had a fight. Communication is #1. Open and free is key. And second is make sure you have common interests. If you don't have commom hobbies and things you both like to do, you will spend more time away from each other, which never ends well. 🙏

Thank you Adam! I've been forwarding your videos to my friends and they're always thankful for it! Personally, as someone that's married, this gave me comfort on the fact that the talks we've had at the beginning may have been tough but very grateful that we've had it there and then. Thank you for strengthening that foundation to which out little family is/will be built on🙇

This is fire! I needed to hear every word of this. My longtime partner passed tragically 2 years ago and I have struggled with the thought of dating for a but now. While still not completely ready I needed to hear this!

I am getting AAAALLLLL the gains after finding this podcast! This was an episode that I probably should have saved to watch later but so relevant to my current situation I had to listen even though I am up for a physio appointment in 5 hours. Very interesting now I am just about ready to think about trying to date again after a few years break from being bitterly disappointed by dating websites and not yet bumped into my soul mate on a mountain. I totally see where I went wrong on a few dates.

I hate the apps! I appreciate the break down in the four steps so much because when focusing on finding someone you can build a life with in dating it’s so hard to know where to start.

My fiancé and I were just discussing the attachment style video yesterday, I was wondering if there would be another adam video to come out. I didn’t realize it would be the day after talking about him! Mind pump covers everything health and I’m here for it. 🥰

My husband and I have been married since 2005 and have four children aged 5 > 19 years together. So I am not on any dating app or in other ways dating anyone 😊. But I just come here to say that I appreciate so much that you guys chose to bring forward content like this in your channel. It’s all relevant and health related. Thank you! I will go and do my mobility session now while reflecting on my own attachment style(s) 🤔☺️….

Question for Adam Smith (hopefully he responds here..): What are your thoughts on dating someone from the same company (aka coworker). Any extra dating advices on this, or same rule applies from what you listed in this video? Thanks!

Never mix business & pleasure
@Mei_I_Know_Aaron11 ай бұрын
@@robwopper6229 But can't you be discreet and keep business lives separate? also, being in a serious relationship is just "pleasure"
@robwopper622911 ай бұрын
@Mei_I_Know_Aaron so the minute you start dating this person you are in a serious relationship without knowing who they are? That's why I said 'pleasure' as it may be to start off with. I personally would not like to see my partner at work most of the day and then be with them at home. There needs to be some kind of break between each other

I decided to try dating apps because I moved to a new state during my divorce and knew no one. I’m thankful I did because the guy I’m currently dating and I would never have met otherwise as we live about an hour apart. We’re only 8 months in, but regardless of whether it’s forever or not I could never regret finding him. Our relationship has been the had the most open communication of any I have ever been in, dating or platonic. It has been huge for our relationship. Things that would have been arguments in other relationships simply turn into peaceful discussions. We both share our views and either leave with a compromise for moving forward or an appreciation or the others way of thinking which allows us to agree to disagree while respecting each others boundaries and views in future situations.
