Damn this means a lot King. It’s meaningful to me that you recognize that I tap into the mindset part of PT, which I feel is so important in this profession. Thank you for sharing such encouraging words. IM MOTIVATED TO DO MORE ON THIS CHANNEL!!

Wow thanks for being so open about your journey. I have gone through such a similar journey. I am trying to be confident in where my burning desire is leading me in healthcare. You passion is contagious ❤. This is the first time I have heard a physical therapist talk about physicality as the new leader in healthcare. I totally agree with that, and have been dreaming of being part of bringing that awareness to the world. Living right is the way to health

Thank you for motivation! I love PT and I’ve always been passionate about becoming one. This winter I graduated from my community college with a associate degree in general biology and I will start my new college in September. Physical Therapy is my dream job and it’s the only thing that interests me. I know I am falling behind with my schedule and it might take me more time to get to PT school, but who gives a damn how long it will take me to achieve my dream! I will not give up and I will flourish!!! Thank you again for motivation😁 please keep up the good work, it really helps me!

So glad you’re thinking like this!!!! I think a lot of students feel discouraged because they don’t exactly follow the timeline of “go to college at 18, graduate by 21, and be in DPT school by 22”. Many students take extra years before going to PT school, so you are not alone!!! If this is your dream job, then stay focused on your goals and run after them!!! I’m here to support you every step of the way!

I love what you said. Perseverance is and attribute you need in PT first for yourself and then for your patients.
@drjustinleedpt3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely Mary! Thank you for your feedback!!! I don’t know where you are in your PT journey, but one of the main characteristics you have to have for yourself in perseverance. If you can’t capitalize in that, then you will lose. You lose only when you quit on yourself

I am in my senior year of undergrad getting ready to apply for DPT school. I have shadowed too and have noticed that because PT is a slow but needed process persevere is needed not only in my own studies but also when working in the facilities of PTs.

@@RunningTowardSunshine you’re absolutely right. Many patients come expecting they will recover faster, but reality is that it will take time. Just like your studies. You got the picture!! If you need any support from me through your application process, I’m here to help!

Im here to support you in any way, possible bro. Please reach out if you need anything! Also, have you heard about my online course on "everything you need to know to get accepted into PT school?" I always recommend students to look into this course as a freshman and sophomore because the earlier you start and look ahead, the better your chances of acceptance. justin-s-school-279b.thinkific.com/courses/DPTschool

i cannot describe how much i needed this video. i’m still an undergraduate, but i struggle so much with this doubt that i’m not smart enough or unique enough to become a PT. i’ve never been personally injured to the point i’d need PT as many of my fellow aspiring PTs have, but i’ve witnessed the effects of it on my late grandpa’s battle with parkinson’s. it changed the way i thought of this career path. i just submitted my application to volunteer in the PT ward in my local hospital after watching this video :) thank you so much for this. subbed and have my notifications on 🥰

WOW what a truly inspirational message. Thank you for sharing your story. Paige, you have so much to offer and just because you have not personally needed PT, doesn’t mean you do not have a amazing story to tell. You are unique and have so much to give into this profession! I never personally received PT, but I knew in my heart that I wanted to inspire others to move more, exercise often, and live a healthier lifestyle. When I chose PT as a career path, I was a personal trainer at the time. So I witnessed myself how exercise could dramatically change someone’s life (like your grandpa and PD). I have high hope for your application and wish you the best! Let me know if there is any way I could support your PT journey!!! And thanks for the sub and turning on your notifications!!!! ❤️ this means so much to me

I don't know what life has in store for you, but please believe that you have a purpose!

But, Praise God because next month we're going to have our face to face for our laboratory practices. Yeey!!! Thankyou sir for lifting our hopes high for a better future ❣️🙏
