@@aleriv2791 I think he means, that currently let’s say you have 2 tracks that go perpendicular you can’t have them overlap so that a cart on each track will go straight forward without turning onto the other. Because in a perpendicular set up the track that is on the intersection point is curved and it cannot be changed so you can’t have that kind of cross over. With a cross rail, 2 perpendicular lines will be able to ferry their carts straight forward without turning and going onto the other line. Difficult to explain simply.

My biggest complaint is the untouched potential of items, we still don’t have ANY PARITY WITH COMBAT. Not even fire aspect on axes or something like that. Still waiting for improvements to older untouched items. It feels like NOTHING is connected within the latest updates. I honestly don’t think this will be a good update unless they make more meaningful improvements to old features or add features to useless tools.

They have delivered you this special and fantastic game. Not many developers keep their game updated for as long as minecraft has been. But afterall, the developers are still humans, they need breaks, they need time, they need the support from community when their game is not meeting it's expectations. It's not like they are not working at all. Don't brag that this game is not getting the fancy updates like it's past, be glad that it got fancy updates in the past and enjoy the current game. The developers I know are extremely talented and they have skill and will to deliver fantastic updates (as seen from past) but anyone can get tired for meeting higher and higher expectations. And talking about parity, do you even know how much parity bedrock edition got in last few years. I really never expected and banner on shield in bedrock yet here we are. They constantly working to bring java and bedrock one step closer and closer, yet the community is spreading hatred like if they don't work at all.

It boggles the mind how many basic features Mojang has failed to implement in the last 15 years of Minecraft’s existence. Even something as simple as, you know, a decent white stone set to build with that isn’t ultra contrasty or devoid of texture, or autumn color leaves, you’d think these would be basic needs for the millions upon millions of artistic builders to work with. Or the ability to stop Endermen griefing without effecting other mobs. Or the bundle, it’s been over three years since the bundle was introduced and they still can’t figure out how to make *_a simple bag_* work. It’s been five years, half a decade, since Fletching Tables were introduced and they still have absolutely no use in game. Connected glass textures that don’t look like ridiculous white grids. The list of basic features Mojang has failed to implement over the last 15 years is endless.

Ideas aside... this is the most cursed minecraft footage I've ever seen. Someone using trial ruin to gather blocks and destroying all suspicious dirt and gravel in the process despite having a brush in the hotbar. Then taking the blocks of the trial ruin to build pointless words in SURVIVAL. Having so many stacks of just 4 blocks filling up his inventory. This videos made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Like there's always something that's out to happen but it just never happens

An idea I modded into my group mc server was windcharges being crafted into bottles of wind. I have these working like fireworks boosting speed. But, what if in vanilla we were abke to create wind columns (horizontal and vertical) that you can ride your elytra through or boat through for a speed boost

I like the idea of a new Enchantment. If 1.21 turns out to be a Combat Update, then the Cleaving Enchantment is a perfect candidate (as well as Sweeping Edge for Bedrock). I think that for Minecarts, they should add a second type of Minecart that goes faster but only for player transport. That way, current Minecarts are unaffected but we can still get faster Minecarts for situations where we want it. As far as Copper goes, I think that Mojang should add the Chisel as a new tool (made from Copper) It would be able to remove 1/8 of a block (similar to how Moon Cheese worked in the April Fools Update). It would only be able to chisel certain stone variants and Copper, but maybe we also have Carved Wood blocks as well. There would be so much potential there.

Minecarts should go faster than elytra, as they are limited to one specific path which takes considerable time and resource investment, while elytra is infinitely mobile. Mojang could introduce a faster Golden Minecart to accomplish this. I would also buff horse, donkey and mule speed, as well as increase all of their inventory capacity (full chest for mule / donkey and 9 slot for horse), and would (finally) make horses rideable by two players, which is how it should have always been. People will complain that this would “take away” from camels, but I don’t think the camel is worth limiting what horses should be. Camels can have a number of other buffs and features.

@@lucasmatthiessen1570 Yep, love to see Maple trees, but not as lot retextured cherry Blossom but have their unique style and such, also have orange leaves and can get maple sap out of the tree from tapping on the wood for such and then able to make maple syrup too, also the wood colour should look like golden colour or whatever colour maple woods are tbh, but yeah Love to see corn, we haven't had any plantable food for our farmland except the two plants from the Sniffer that can dig up, we haven't had any normal farmable plant since the beetroot and we are truly due one tbh, also other fruits and vegetables too like cabbage, rhubarb (make rhubarb tart pie with), broccoli, cauliflower, turnips, parsnips and so on, fruits we need are tomatoes, peppers, chillies, pineapples, oranges, lemons, coconuts, limes, pears and so on, so yeah

This is just my list, but this is what I wanna see in 1.21: I would like to see Cobbled Tuff, Smooth Tuff, and Tuff Tiles along with their stair slab and wall variations, not only that but Cracked Tuff Bricks cause where is that at, and also Cracked Tuff Tiles and maybe even Tuff Pillars cause why not. Maybe we can also get regular Copper Stars Slabs and Walls, along with their waxed and oxidation stage versions, and also Cut Copper Walls because we have stairs and slabs but no Walls. Maybe we can also get Colored Redstone lamps. They would come in all 16 colors, but just be cool decoration. Maybe we could also get some new mobs, The Dune, a Skeleton that spawns in Trial Chambers and Desert Biomes, they Skeletons would give you weakness when they shoot at you, and they would drop Weakness arrows and bones, maybe we can also get the Illusioner, and Iceologer in this update, we could also get the Frostbite zombie in the update, this zombie would spawn in Cold and Snowy biomes, this zombie would give slowness when it attacks, they drop rotten flesh, we could also get the Swampwalker, its a Swamp Zombie variation and this zombie would give you poision when it attacks, they drop Rotten Flesh, we could receive the Bubble and Boulder, they are Water and Earth Blaze versions, the Bubble spawns from Spawners in Ocean Monuments and the Boulder could spawn from Spawners in possibly Dungeons, they would drop Water charges and Earth charges when killed, we could also get a Piglin Guard a new Piglin Mob that spawns in Bastions, they are armored and they weild Shields and a new weapon the Glaive, the Glaive is a new melee weapon that can be found in chest but also weilded by Piglin Guards, Glaives have a longer melee reach and cannot be crafted. We could also get new arrows, Arrow of Blaze, Arrow of Gale, Arrow of Torrent, and Arrow of Terra. Each arrow is crafted with a specific charge, the fire wind, water, and earth charge, we could also get some new shields Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond and Netherite, each shield would be more durable and last longer too. We could also receive strawberries along with seeds. It can be a new food that can be obtained by villager trading or finding the seeds in villages. The Zombie Horse can be implemented and add Zombie Horseman. These are unlike the Skeleton Horseman, where the Zombie ones just spawn during the night, and Zombie horseman have crossbows. a new bow Enchantment called Freezing could be added. It can freeze mobs or players like if they are in Powder snow. Some new foods such as Pumpkin Bread, Apple Pie, Strawberry cookies, and Chocolate Cake can be added as new foods. Copper bars, Copper Pressure Plates, copper chains, and Copper Nuggets could be added. They could all be obtained from the Trail Chambers or crafted naturally. Lastly, we could get Iron and Gold grates and bulbs. They are like the Copper ones, but instead, iron and Gold. That's what I would personally like to see added in 1.21, I know its alot but thats how i think 1.21 could be better.

Copper idea: coper could be used to make a redstone motor that can be used to rotate pistons or create something like a winch or a fan that can lift you with the elytra or be placed on a boat to go faster. Maybe in the future it can be used in conjuction with redstone to create moving buildings with things like a sort of wheel. It would reshape thinkering in the game to the point of making it similar to tears of the kingdom.

Having a neat permanent movable light source that you'd only craft once possibly to run around with and swim with is fun, convenient to switch to when it's dark while you're roaming. I feel that if it was possible to build a farm that could supply a furnace minecart it would realive them. Since there are farmable kelp or bamboo farms it would only have to take a new design or way for hoppers to be toggled in this mode maybe by two extra slots in the furnace to set what can be put in or pulled out

What I would like is a good way of vertical transport in the nether, something comparable to a water elevator, something that can move items and players vertically faster and less laggy than using large amounts of droppers. This would come in very useful in gold farms (and a bunch of other uses people would definitely come up) with and going from the main nether to the nether roof alot faster than just ladders... Mob movement in the nether sucks as it is usually dependent on a mobs AI or in some very rare cases lava, which is slow as it is.

The armadillo feels unfinished to me. Having it drop a scute and have that scute be able to be used to brew resistance potions would be a good and easy fix to it.

From 1.14, there is a pattern in which the update comes. First a big update and then a small one and repeat. Thats why 1.15, 1.17 (unintentionally), 1.19 were small compated to 1.14, 1.16, 1.18, 1.20. So according to the pattern this will a small one and 1.22 will be a big one like 1.20

I've noticed a recent change where beds placed from boats now go cross-wise instead of straight ahead. Makes things easier, except when you've practiced the straight method for so long. Also, anyone else annoyed how it goes dark at noon?

Dunno what that enchantment could be, we'd be fine without one imho. Copper in my eyes could actually be a freeform redstone that can be in the air and go along walls with a consectutive 15 block reach, but cannot go beyond 15 blocks from the base activation and oxidizes over time with honeycombs only acting as a time extension(equivalent of Unbreaking I). Fletching Table specifically should be allowed to making tipped arrows, via 4 arrows per potion, 8 per splash, and 16 per lingering. To connect with how the other worktables function(Improved niche function over the crafting table).

instead of a "Redstone ladder" they should just make copper rods conduct power. would be a way for redstone to not only go vertically but also horizontally without needing support blocks. and it would be more atheistically pleasing to fit into houses and other builds

Here me out - Redstone Lanterns to provide the vertical redstone signal. Copper ore instead of iron (for conductivity). When powered they put off the light of a redstone torch, putting of 0 light when not.

I think there should be a form of copper that can be used for vertical redstone. Kills multiple birds with one stone.
