!!Important!! If you’re on Java and this isn’t working, try renaming the final file to “use_totem” instead of “use_totem.ogg” I forgot that file extensions are hidden by default, so you won’t need the “.ogg” part unless you have file extensions enabled in file explorer.

Amazing! Editing is simple and easy to understand. Please, please do more of these type of tutorials as this type of smooth content is missing from YT. IF you are any good with redstone, I also know a lot of people would love to see a How To series that's not just using another persons machine mechnics but enables them to develop their own redstone skills.

If anybody is still wondering, the sound works regardless of the version you are playing, but if it really bothers you that you get the message ''the pack is for a older version'', you need to replace the 9 with a 15 for all 1.20 versions.

Just so people know, if you want to make a pack for older versions, I believe from the version texture packs were implented to 1.11 (please correct me on this) the pack version number is one, 1.12 is 2, 1.13 is 3, 1.14 is 4, etc. Just for people who might have been confused.

for anyone who's txt file isn't changing to mcmeta, what you can do is get a resource pack that does work and copy the mcmeta file over to your resource pack.

Yo all i do is downlowd a texture pack that i want to use for the item i want to change and just delete the assets/texture/sounds in the texture pack and replace them with what i want and also rename them to exactly to what was there previously and it works for me

you need audacity for that you are going to take your .ogg and put it in audacity then go to top right press on tracks then mix and then press "mix stereo down to mono" and export it as .ogg and when it asks for a metadata after pressing "extract as .ogg" press ok and take the .ogg you just exported and replace it with your old .ogg

If you haven’t, try enabling the file extensions in file explorer. File explorer > View > and check the box next to file extensions. Then rename the file.
