For anyone interested, works perfectly on vault hunters. Took about 60 minutes to find enough reeds for dye (Cause I'm a gluten for pain) and took about 12 minutes to build 4 of these with a three block gap between each one. Realised as I finished, Ironfarms are supposed to be 16 minimum away from each other, but honestly I've collected from each of the four and its only been up for about 10 minutes.

*Iron Farm ingredients* 68 building blocks (some type of stone of your choice) 48 walls (again, some type of stone of choice) 32 glass blocks 5 beds 3 hoppers 1 chest 4 signs 1 water bucket 1 lava bucket 5 villagers You need a minimum of 10 ladders to the chest. I also suggest a small buffer zone of water if you're accident prone so you don't take unnecessary damage. I plan this schematic pillaring/laddering up to the _opposite_ end from where I'd place the beds. That's the most prepared start for building this.

Here is how to improve your farm. First off, if your golems spawn outside of the farm, you can place slabs in a 16x16 square on the ground. You could also make the farm ten blocks or higher in the air so it doesn’t let golems spawn below the farm. Also, if you have any blocks around the farm (inside the same 16x16 chunk) you can put buttons or torches on those block to prevent spawnablility. You could also use tall grass or normal grass (not the grass block) as well. 2. You can add zombie by the farm to improve spawn rate. What you have to do is get the zombie up near where the villagers are, then you have to surround him with blocks and a roof so he can’t escape or burn. Then break one block at the zombies eye level so he can see the villagers and the villagers can’t see him. Then place buttons on the tops of all placed blocks to prevent unwanted iron golem spawn. This farm makes me about 3-4 stacks in the span of half an hour, so you could get 8+ stacks in one full hour. Good luck, and I hope this works!

I built the farm step by step, but no golems are spawning. I built the farm a little bit behind an existing village house to make it easy to move them. Should I give them time to spawn? Also, do I have to be close to the farm for new golems to spawn? I put the iron farm in a village under 700 blocks away from my main house. Finally, everyone is talking about putting slabs in a 16 block radius of the farm, but nobody specifies exactly where. Do I put them above where the golems spawn(which I have seen on most other iron farms)? Or, do I put them somewhere else? If so, does anyone know where on the spawner to put them?

You must think about the redstone one. That one is a little harder to make yes but it is not the only zombie driven iron farm that exists.

And you can make it at the same point in the game, like all you have to do is wait until night. Thats just my opinion though yk, I feel like its worth the 5-6 minutes of adding the zombie.
