Anyone not wanting to bridge over to the area using frogs you can spam feed tadpoles to turn them into grey (warm biome) frogs producing purple frost lights only but it’s a very easy start and 1 of the 3 done already. Building portals in other nearby areas of the nether to find biomes could also help.

Just gonna say this... I subscribed to your channel. I dont normally subscribe to minecraft content channels, but dude. Your content reminds me of what I myself would make if I were a minecraft content creator. First off I only play on xbox so I like your designs work on bedrock. You satisfy my wants of complexity and aestetic by making your farms look immaculate using nice resources and patterns to your designs. I love your voice and your in depth explenations. So you sir... keep up the good work. Im going to dig some more on your channel for what you have for farm videos... but dude its about to get real. Minecraft changing the spawn location of mobs on the block really messes up a lot of farms. @r3crypt bro don't discredit yourself! Part of what I like about you is that you have covered what others have... and done it way way better! More in depth and detailed! The changes will be good for you for sure! First few farms I am looking forward too if you want to cover them... Honey and beeswax farm Shulker farm Elder guardian farm (ps this is one I think could definitely get improved. There is a newer video of a smaller less complex but sufficient way to build it... but it's ugly with this big stone grid in the water and definitely could be updated for efficiency. Sprinkle your aesthetician touch and over analytical breakdown... maybe add a few special touches like an auto sorter or something. I bet you could start really taking the cake.) I really like your froglight and slime farm on your channel. Some of the basic must have farms are quite good too.

hi! thank you so much for your content, recently completed the slime farm and now I'm building this one :D just to make sure, the hole has to be 15 blocks wide (so 15 blocks from the central point horizontally and vertically), then 16 blocks deep is that correct? just making sure since the borders on my end look so much bigger than in the video

Hi, thanks for your comment. Yes, the dimensions are internal dimensions. The reason that yours looks bigger is probably due to the FOV settings. I'm not sure what I had my FOV set to in this video, but they are currently set to 90. I hope this helps

Hey, so this isnt related to this video but the minecart unloader. I built a minecart unloading system to pick up all the fallen bamboo on a skyblock server, i dont know yet if this is an issue due to some server policies or whatever like ticks and so on im not so intellectual in terms of redstone ticks and minecraft in general xd but it doesnt unload fully? it just hits and goes back but the redstone rail does turn off but its like it turned off too late? so the minecart only unloads half a stack of bamboo, the minecart is full if thats important info. I have screenshots please lemme know where i can send em or maybe u can even hop on the server and check it out live

When watching my unloading systems video, maybe build the timer version of the unloader, which is towards the end of my video. If there are issues with tick speed on the server, then maybe a controlled timer will fix your issue.

Will it work in overworld if I put a mob spawner? I play in a server where I can buy spawners and in the server the nether isn't really a great place to build anything

I haven't tested this, but as long as the magma cubes can survive in the overworld on your sever, then I think it will work just fine

How would we go about using two spawners? I play on a realm with a mod that allows for spawners to be picked up but I’m unsure where to position the two, Any suggestions?

You could position them next to each other, but this could lead to magma cubes sitting on the spawners for longer. A more effective approach would be to build a slightly larger killing chamber and space the spawners a part from each other, leaving just enough space where magma cubes can't jump from one spawner to the other

Has anyone else had the issue of the Minecart not restarting after unloading?

Make sure there isn't an active redstone circuit next to the unloader. If you upload a picture and share the link, then I can view your unloader to see what's happening. Also, make sure that the hopper on your unloader is empty, meaning you need extra storage space underneath the hopper to make sure the hopper can be drained of all items. If the hopper has items within it, then the minecart won't move

I had an issue where the minecart stopped and did the drop-off, but didn't restart again afterwards. (comment edited to remove my original solution, as it didn't work either)

Make sure there are no other redstone elements, such as redstone blocks, torches, levers, etc, near the collection system. If you have the collection system linked to parts of the redstone rail system, then the collection system won't work

Hard to say. I think you need to use replay mod (or freecam mod with screen recorder) to figure out what is going on. Maybe they took fall too much fall damage when dropping them into the farm?

@@r3crypt we dropped em in with a boat, but had to put carpet down to prevent piglins spawning because of the biome, that was apparently *sometimes* (because not all of our frogs died) enough height to push them into the snow. We initially thought it was them killing themselves while jumping so we switched the floor to honey, but that doesn’t work in bedrock because it breaks their AI. We settled on accounting for both possibilities, making the floor out of wool and putting buttons on it, and now it’s working like a charm. We did also need to raise up a wall around the hole because some energetic big boys would still manage to jump out of the 15x15 and kill afk players.

I think so, I believe these mechanics are universal to all minecraft versions. But you should probably test it in a creative world first just to make sure.

No idea why your snow is melting. Maybe dig out the surrounding area and check for lava. This might be the issue

What is happening for it to get stuck? Did the minecart ever begin to unload? Or does it get stuck as soon as it reaches the powered rails? If the mincart has unloaded before and doesn't now, then it's likely your chest and hopper are full. If items can't leave the minecart, then the minecart won't move. So you'd need to expand your collection system by adding more chests. If the minecart gets stuck as soon as it reaches the powered rails, then it's likely that you've missed something. You'll know if the unloader is built correctly by checking to see if the powered rails are lit when there is no minecart on them. If they are not lit, then you've deffinetly missed something. Some common things people mess up on are: 1) Make sure there is a solid block above the redstone torch. 2) Make sure the 2 prongs on the comparator are facing into the hopper. 3) Make sure you placed the restone dust. Let me know if any of this solved your problem

@@r3cryptIt gets stuck right on the actual unloader part, but it only gets stuck when there’s something inside of the minecart. It still does drop everything into the hopper then the chest but after that it just stays there forever. Im sure I placed down everything right.

I think it works the same on Bedrock. But I'm not 100% sure. To be on the safe side, search KZbin for an unloading system specific to bedrock, and see if that works

This happened to me once as well, randomly. I don't know why. I recorded for hours to try and see what was going on, but I couldn't re-create the issue. I think it might be a bug. Or maybe the drop height when pushing them into the farm?

I did the same and didn't find any double spawner locations. To be honest I don't know if it's possible or not. I saw a video of someone who did find two spawners, which I why I included that information in my video. But I don't know if they faked it with creative or not. Best way to find out is by using chunk base and doing a search of all the spawner locations. This search can be infinite, so just search as much as you can be bothered to do. Thanks for the sub :)

I fixed the melting problem by replacing all the walls to double slabs because the endermen would get caught on fire and melt the snow. The unloader, however, I have no idea how to fix. I’m just manually pushing it everytime it comes back lol.

Yes, perfectly normal. Items won't depawn for 5 minutes, so don't worry
