For those of you who, like me, were struggling with the harvester running out of energy, I have a solution! First, I doubled the amount of beets feeding into my Culinary Generator, and my harvester was STILL running out of energy really quickly. So, what I did was put a Timer (from Dark Utilities modpack) attached to the back of the harvester, and set the tick length to 25 ticks. That way, the harvester was turned on for a small time every second, which was enough time to fully activate the harvester every 30 seconds or so and save me a TON of energy. Obviously you can play around with the ticks on the timer to make it pulse faster or slower based on how many beets you have feeding, but 25-50 ticks should be sufficient for your needs. @@midnigh7x theres a better option, using a geothermal generator a cruicible with a torch a cobble gen, connect the cruicible to cobble via item cable, then lava to geothermal gen via fluid cable (also cyclic) and and boom infinite lava and energy as long as if it doesnt use too much its always feeding itself power, also useful for feeding infinite lava into your tinkers construct smelters/melters

@@Glxrp Yeah that would work pretty well, but it just means you have to build more shit rather then using the farming stuff you're already harvesting. But yeah, geothermal are great at the beginning, used them for power for ages untill I eventually got a reactor going. Then just used wireless transfers everywhere

I added an upgradable combustible generator next to the culinary generator, so now my setup does not overflow with excess seeds and is used to power the harvester too.

Wouldn't the generator be more efficient with something that drops multiple copies of itself, like carrots or potatoes? Also, add sprinkler.

Redstone clocks are best for sugarcane, but can be combined with harvesters. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4aViKKvYtCKbtU

Put it on Snad and run a redstone clock into the side of it. It's crafted with 2 sand. Things like Cactus and Sugar cane grow super quickly and super tall.

sugarcane can be automated with hopping bonsais, however it can be pretty slow so ide suggest making a lot of them

I followed the video and replicated it, but this stopped automating once the beetroot were harvested and the energy depleted. So, it stopped functioning after the initial manual fueling... If the Harvester requires energy from the Generator, which requires it to be manually fueled by putting the Beetroot in the Harvester, isn't it not automated?

Beetroot should continue to grow even after harvesting giving you a limitless supply. Make sure that the cable going to your generator has beetroot whitelisted and the cable going to your chest has it blacklisted. That way the beetroot will continue to feed only into the generator.

@@OnlydravenGaming But doesn't the harvester require energy to harvest the grown beetroot? Meaning, you have to put in the beetroot by hand to give it energy. After the initial harvest, the energy doesn't remain for me. it gradually depletes. By the time the next beetroot have grown, the stored energy is gone.

The harvester should be connected to a culinary generator. The generator will use the beetroot to create power and run the harvester, creating an infinite cycle. You may have to put some in the first time but the generator will make more than enough power from that to harvest several times, running it forever. Make sure your beetroots are being transferred to the generator automatically from the harvester with an item extraction cable.

You could just put one hole for water and have sprinkler on top of it i think it will cover 15 x15 area even if it didn’t it will be much faster

Sprinklers are stackable. Their effects combine, so multiple in the same area will increase growth speed more than a single sprinkler.

You’re looking for iron seeds. They grow into iron essence which makes iron ingots.

You need to put a item extraction cable on the chest, then use an item cable into the File Cabinet.

@@josebonilla5658 Dude, today I just managed to figure it out. You need to use Cyclic (peat generator, harvester, and item collector), Extra Utilities 2 (mills, transfer nodes, transfer pipes, and upgrades), Bonsai Trees (charcoal production), and Mystical Agriculture (dirt seeds to make dirt)

Do you have an item extraction cable going from the harvester to the generator? If you have one going to a chest as well you will need to pick a crop to go into the generator. White list that crop in the cable going to the generator and black list it in the cable going anywhere else.

You make need to check the priorities you have set for the cabinets. If it's the same or lower than other storage it will not place the items in as a priority.

Place a Snad and run a redstone clock into the side of it and a piston 1 tick later that break the block 1 above the Snad. Then place Sugar Cane on the Snad.
