This is smart ! A little tip for those who see it, when you just dump water at the top (so it will all float down until it touches the soul sand) and put kelp in every block (remove it afterwards) it will make it a source block and it will safe you a lot of water, buckets and time :D

Attention, for most of multiplayer servers, this design will not work because of entity stack plugin, if you want to use this, put packet ice on the edge of the soul sand (under the sign) 1:35 right here, break the block below him and put a packet ice.

1:59 *Tip:* instead of using buckets for the soul sand elevator u can just Go to the top of the "elevator" and place 1 water source at the top Then go to the bottom and place kelp all the way to the top After that break the kelp and TA DA it's already water logged and the elevator works in a faster and more efficient/cheaper way than the bucket thing

Pro tips : Use cobblestone wall right under the end of the water stream, it will make mob go up to water bubble faster instead of stuck in there

For a tip, just use kelp and bonemeal it so you dont need to get soo many buckets Kelp fills the non water sources into water sources

Tip : to make the water elevator you can place a water source at the top and grow some kelp. By growing, the kelp will transform flowing water in water sources ! P.S.: I love your videos, BBlock! Thank you for sharing with us really good tutorials! :D

You can upgrade the farm by making the water elevator longer and placing powders snow and a cobweeb under it than you will have a stray farm if you found a skeleton spawner of course

hay! here's 2 tips for making it more efficient! 1) Use ice where the sign is before the soulsand, so it's easier for them to get pushed in. 2) instead of having a load of buckets of water, just get 2 and some kelp; one at the bottom, one at the top, and place the kelp up (that makes all the in-between water into source blocks ^-^ it makes things a lot quicker when building!)

On the one hand: You should use Kelp to make the elevator and you should bring them 22 blocks above your kill chamber so they are 1 hit. On the other hand: You're the only one I've seen to use a hopper at the kill chamber, which always bugs me. :)

TIP for u guys if u dont have much durability on pick, just destroy 1 or 2 block below spawner and the area, put water on one corner The water leave 1 block space, just mine 3 blocks below, place hopper, mine a small room for you in front of hopper, then place chest or double chest, lastly use slab and remove torches, done just kill them

You can also use seaweed to help you with the bubble elevator

@@ha2z691 So you start at the bottom with a dirt block not soul sand yet, then you place the seaweed one by one all the way to the top and since you placed the seaweed it turns the water into a source block. And you basically break the sea weed and place the soul sand/magma block.
