"Why would you want to date someone in another country" > This can't have been a real question... I'm British and since maybe 20 have exclusively dated outside the country, I still set my Tinder back to the UK on occassion, and will still talk to any women who approach me, but personally I'm just not attracted to most British women's personalities or appearances. I'ma paint myself as a cunt/mug here, but I'd prefer a girlfriend who at least somewhat enjoys my hobbies, and from my experiences most British women either dislike them, or HATE them. I got called a psycho-axe killer once after a date for explaining that anime isn't exclusively for kids, and is more for teens and young adults (I used the example of a show called "Another" which if you break it down to an extremely simple form is like Final Destination I guess?). As for appearances, it may just be personal preference, in my teens I mostly dated British girls, but around 20 got with a latina-Texan, met up, loved her, and split because issues I had with some stuff she did (not gonna get into it). That being said, appearance and personality wise I'd still put her above every British woman I've met, let alone dated. I've also met a fair share of American and Asian women since that I've just been far more compatible with, as friends and intimately. Whereas I have 0 female British friends or fwb's, I find most of our women's voices and hobbies jarring (couldn't give two fucks about formula 1, football, love island etc). Could very well be an issue with me, but I don't know I think dating online/abroad is just more appealing and gives for better options for good relationships,

Not liking British women could be a me-specific thing, but it's not a bad thing. I'll stick to my affectionate, feminine, fun, and beautiful American women and East Asians, you're free to explore the pool here in the UK where the average girl cakes makeup on that doesn't match their skintone, is aging like milk and has the highest standards they themselves wouldn't meet the comparative of. Heck, if we just use Tinder as an example, a lower observation of dating, I've seen hundreds, if not thousands of UK women have "6ft + only", "lemme be a passenger princess", "princess treatment 👑", the worst of all: "don't be boring"... Then, the girls with "long term" as their set desire have no bio? Not to mention, there's a TON of British girls who smoke it's fucking vile. American women on the otherhand I won't lie and claim I've never seen ANY of the above, but it's 100x less common (not even exaggerating, the most I'll see from American women is the passenger princess one, the big difference being a passenger princess over there often will be sexually engaging with their partner, vs the UK equivalent of "drive me around and get Nada, cause despite being a 5/10 I'm a catch". Oh boy, don't make me mention the whole "fat pride" thing over here and the "love me how I am/was born", no, you weren't born a 280-pound land whale :) - Heck it's insulting how many girls here blame it on medical reasons when it's 95% sheer laziness.
