I’ve had the opposite experience: I have a Clubman, and have had the 3-door as a courtesy car (also the 5-door and Countryman.) Clubman has remained my favourite. I bought the 3-cylinder because of the interesting noise it makes at high revs. Thanks for the video, it was great. The only thing you got wrong was to say that the Clubman is small for a hatchback - actually it’s the same size as a Golf.

Thanks for the review. A good find as I have just placed a deposit on a very very similar spec Clubman Cooper S. A personal must-have is the LED light option - sets the look of the car off nicely and a good safety feature both in and out of town.

Why would you compare a car which is much bigger and has much more comfort again and again with the 3-door hatch?! There is nothing to compare
@OnlineHousehusband6 жыл бұрын
Well i think there's much to compare, market trends show that if people buy into a brand (in this case MINI) they tend to upgrade within that brand. Therefore I'm sure there are people out there moving from their 3 door or 4 door hatch to a Clubman or Countryman. It makes complete sense to me. Thanks for checking the review out anyway.

I didnt meant to be rude Paul and i honestly enjoyed your review. Just at the beginning i was confused (mentioned abough). Thanks for your explanation, still i think a bigger car (even if its the same brand) logically brings these consequenses with it.

The rear doors are "barn" not suicide.

The door to access the rear seats IS a suicide door

BMW didn’t buy the rights to use traveler name so used clubman name for the larger mini.

Yes I thought that might have been the case.

I've had a Clubman as a loan car for about a week now, as my F56 MCS has been in for repair. Sadly it's the 1.5T engine & boy is it gutless - which is a shame as in the hatch it wasn't too bad as a daily. Appreciate you probably didn't drive it long enough, but did you notice any difference in fuel economy between F56 MCS & F54 MCS? I did hear you mention it still has the rev-matching feature, but does it still have pops & bangs in sport mode? I'm in the process of rejecting my F56 due to the faults it has & I'm now considering a Clubman S to replace it. Thanks for any comments you can offer 👍
