Mini Dapple Dachshunds Have Their First Birthday! | New Toys, Treats And Another New Bed!

Saffy and Gracie are finally one year old, we decided to treat them to some new toys, treats and cake. What did they think? Have a look and find out.
Our History
We were only getting one puppy, Gracie but then fell in love with Sapphire, Saffy for short and couldn't let her go. Mum is a black and tan and Dad is a chocolate dapple. Gracie is a silver dapple and Saffy is a silver dapple with white. We are fully aware of double dapple issues but she was not bred from two dapples and is very healthy so far. We would not breed from her either.

Please be careful not to let them jump off the bed, sofa, etc., and they will be paralyzed. My puppy was paralyzed. After a total of 12,000 dollars in CT and spine surgery, he finally recovered 90% of his walking and bowel and bladder functions🙏

They definitely don't jump off the bed, the sofa is much lower and we have steps, I cover this in my earlier pupdates about discouraging them as much as possible. They weren't allowed to do the stairs till 6 or 7 months so we are conscious of IVDD and I'm not having them spayed till they are 2 due to the recent studies. Sorry to hear about your puppy, it must have been so hard to see, glad he has mostly recovered xx
