Add a little candle wax or paraffin wax to the heated threads. The wax gets pulled in by capillary action to help loosen and lubricate the threads.

Great video! Very concise and thorough especially pointing out to have a gap between the metal part and coil so you don't burn through the insulation. Subscribed.

Ended up getting the venom 2 for me and my dad. Got to try it out on my 18 year old and super rusty brake line fittings and it loosened them up like nothing. Can wait to use it again when the time comes. Best $600 bucks I’ve ever spent in my life!

Bought the venom HP last year, one of the best purchases I've ever made, hands down! Saved me hours of labor and lots of money in not-broken bolts. And if a bolt still breaks even after I used the heater on it then I can say for sure that it wasn't going to come out nicely no matter what!
@EliminatorPerformance

It's one of the best tools we have for sure, lots of cylinder head bolts are seized on the old craftsman snowblowers and this Venom HP gets the heat down into the thread even though we only put the coil around the bolt head. Works great!

Great review! I would recommend getting heat resistant braided wire protection insulation sleeves. The sleeve should cost less than $0.10 per meter and you can use any solid copper wire as the conductor inside the sleeve. And make sure to use high quality copper to avoid getting the wire too hot.

Wow what a great tool for small engine repair shops, i have seen videos using them in auto shops but as you have shown safer and easy to use for small engine repair also.. For sure a major time saver and ends up paying for itself in a short period of time. Glad you showed the damaged coil with the full explanation full transparency for sure. Great video looking forward to see it used on different projects.

Wrap the U-Form coil around a LARGER object. You do not want a tight wrap because the induction produced heat is applied to the coil insulation by "conduction" transfer thus burning up the insulation and shorting out the coil and burning up the machine.

@@EliminatorPerformance give me your professional opinion how to I have a model a block with about a dozen head studs that I have to get out, after heating the stud how would you get ahold of it to take it how long should you wait after it gets hot to take it out
@EliminatorPerformance
@EliminatorPerformance Жыл бұрын
@@jackies8538 I would personally weld a nut to the top of the stud if it was badly seized. Then you can heat them up red hot, you can quench them with water if needed, but usually I wait for them to not be red, then start removing. You would have to replace the studs, but it's a small cost

@@EliminatorPerformance thank you for your reply, I have new studs that's not a problem, have you ever used a tool call to stall Willie it was sold by snap-on long time it was designed to get into small spaces to get studs out it worked great use it for main studs, like a hemi you don't have room to get much down in there to get a Maine stud out it works it works great

That Tecumseh is cooked, guy was using it to cut ditches and running it sideways, one of the valves seized up and now it doesn't have much compression. Using it for parts as there would most likely be other issues due to oil starvation!

Compared to an oxy acetylene torch, a good kit will run you about $250 for a torch, hoses and regulators. Then you need to buy, or rent tanks. Not to mention fill them when they run out. Over time, this tool will eventually pay for itself. Thanks for watching!
