I've been using one for nearly 4 years and i absolutely love it. Easy maintenance and cheap. It cruises fine at 55 mph but what it does in 1st low is amazing.

Nice Video, the S stands for sport mode 'higher rpm in each gear, worse gas mileage' The B is for engine braking ' saves your brakes especially on downhill with loads, stops you from coasting as far'

It seems to me the best feature is the dump bed, there's so many "Untitled" utility trailers out there at bargain prices. I made a simple mount using my rear forks to slide under a very lightweight 4'x8' trailer for easy hook up, removing and selling the axle. This 3pt trailer is easy to back up, no tractor-trailer skills required, lowers down to ground level, or raise waist high for nice work platform. I'll be looking at adding a dump feature. They are rattle free, even when they are older, if taken care of. Like an old Camry or something lol

Those points where the gates meet the cab can get pretty squeeky. A little silicone spray now and then works well.

@@GoodWorksTractors It does makes a more significant difference on the street, especially while overtaking on smaller roads, but on the farm/around the house - no biggie ;). And even if someone uses this truck on the road - it is no muscle car, the need to overtake something will not be so common as in a car :).

What's really sad our big 3 automakers petitioned Congress years ago to not allow these in the road if they are not 25 years or older. Daihatsu makes quality mini trucks. I'd love to buy a new one if I could put her on the road. Enjoy your Diahatsu.

I have the feeling while these are solid utv alternatives you still prefer your Polaris ranger, when I see the ranger in your videos since you’ve had these it’s always loaded with something am I wrong?

The bed of that Ranger is never not loaded up...hasn't been empty since I bought it, haha...I constantly use the dump bed my Mini, so can't keep anything stored in it.

If you use it, it will get broken and it needs ongoing maintenance. Where do you get them serviced? Not like we're talking about a open air UTV with no bells / whistles

Engines are easy. Unfortunately it put it in your pocket and take it to a small engine shop. Lots of parts available in Japan. So you can get them. Availability over the counter here is iffy.
