My mum grew up near Llanrug (actually in Llanberis) and my family live in Llanrug currently so I am familiar with the area, everytime we went to the Glyntwrog pub (across from the old petrol station) I use to have significant interest of knowing the backstory of the petrol station (my nain and taid would probably have a good idea of knowing) and a very funny story that has stuck with me to this day is that when we were looking at the cars in the parked area after we came out of the Glyntwrog one night, my mum noticed that there was the Mini (as in the video) and she said that was her first car model when she first started driving, and then my dad (who is from Warrington area) had a Ford Capri as his first car when he started driving, the same model also on the video. Quite surprising when I think about it cause my parents hadn't even met yet when they started driving, and the fact that them two cars have probably been there for years gives more historical insight as with the petrol station. (As deteriorated as the place may look it holds historical significance from my perspective)

Thanks for sharing. It's a very interesting relic hope it survives. Not sure if it would be better all tidied up and gleaming, or if it was left as it is. It so much more atmospheric as it is. Nice to hear the memories the videos bring back

A great subject for future videos.....I love old garages. I wonder what's inside. Harley's in Mold is a good one.

Thanks for the tip. I wasn't aware of Harley's but when I Googled where it was, I would have been past many times and just never noticed it. @@RWHTrains You're very welcome and thank you so much for the link too. I bet he knows were everything is, but I think I would have to have a bit of a clear up if I was to fix my car there! What you see at Harleys will fascinate you. A friend of mine knew Mr Harley, and told me a few nice stories about him. He was highly respected for years and had a vast knowledge of car parts.

@levelcrossing150 no problem. Sounds a really interesting place. You're probably right would be like looking for a needle in a haystack to us, but he would know where everything was. Definitely going to have a look at Harleys. What I saw online looks really interesting. Thanks again for the tip off. Can't believe how I've never noticed it before
