There’s some misinformation here. The majority of bunnies do not like being picked up, no matter what breed. Bunnies should not be caged. They need more room and solid flooring. Domestic bunnies should also not be kept outside due to weather elements and predators. Do your research from reputable sources and find a rabbit savvy vet BEFORE you make the 10-12+ year commitment.

My moms boyfriends sister literally got their three year old one. I feel so fucking bad for it and I’m so pissed I can’t do anything about it. We told them that if they ever don’t want it I’d take it because I’ve always wanted one + I have the money to get everything it needs. That three year old treats it like a toy so I hope that it can be taken away from her soon.
