Personally, I like to imagine that Ol' Flat-Head's weapon is a lasgun of the hotshot or hellgun variety, because I like to imagine that given how Ork weapons work, the reason it has a pressurized tank is because "that's where you keep the laser juice".

I'd assume flamer since it has a tube going to a tank. Or perhaps even a powerwasher! Gotta keep the trukks clean so you can see that it's a red wun!

The Epic Thunderhawk brings back memories. I was fighting a "Everything You Can Get On The Board" type battle. My opponent failed to watch where he deployed a Thunderhawk, and had to endure the indignity of losing it to a squat blimp.

Angst is a great name, but I prefer the Squats, who were named after guns for some reason. Like good old Smoothbore Sten, or Mauser von Dreyse, who wore his cap backwards, which was the style at the time.

Contentious opinion: the monopose marines from the 2nd ed box were crap at the time and remain crap now. Same with the orks and gretchin. The metal models in both ranges were much better. More poses, better detail, more personality. There, that's one opinion that teenage me had that I still largely agree with. Now presumably I will be called either deranged or visionary, because reasoned debate online doesn't seem to happen any more. Fair enough, it's all engagement for the algorithm that'll make Snipe and Wib's number look better.

Yeah, I am puzzled why people whine about squatborn (or whatever they call it) SM, they have chimpanzee proportions and smilely face helmet is just stupid. Mark 4/6/10 armor is so much better it's not even funny and primaris actually have proportions of adult strong men not 5 year old children so double win on that front...
