As someone who lives in newyork christmas is defintetly the best time to come but i'd say try to go more outside of the main part of new york (manhattan and downtown brooklyn) like try going farther into brooklyn theres still so much fun stuff there that not a lot of people know about. Even some of us who live there ;)
