Good video How did you solve the cables when moving the tv arm? How would you leave some extra cable so that when I move the tv arm it has enough cable to take of but without seeing it? With cable management?
@StephenONeil23 жыл бұрын
Wondering this too
@Myxo143 жыл бұрын
I rest the extra cable slack on the mount. Some mounts come with cable management. This one didn't, but it was straight forward to rest the cables on the 'pivot arm'. Hope that makes sense.

Nice job M. . I don't understand why you can't find outlets whether they're rca / coaxial / power that aren't at some other than 90º out of the wall. So tired of plugging stuff in and it sticks out 3" from the wall surface. Need stuff pointed 45º left or right ... or down so that there's no need for funky cords or adapters. That and for cable .... every cable guy that has come out over the years complains about those 90º cable adapters.

Looks great, but what happens when you move and want to unplug the TV or just change the TV, do you have to rip the cable cover off the wall? Presumably that peals the paint off the wall as well? They should really make cable covers with opening on the side so you leave the piece intact on the wall but able to take the wires out without any damage.

Great setup but I can’t help but think this is a fire hazard. I’d be extremely nervous having my cable box in a box while in use
@Myxo147 жыл бұрын
+Elle Dash Yeah, I was concerned about that as well. I monitored the heat from the cable box for the first week, and the bottom of the box was warm at most. My cable box is small and low powered, so it's not much of a concern. If I had a full sized receiver or something high powered, I'd probably line the box with something heat retardant.

@Myxo147 жыл бұрын
+Harrison Gardner My bedroom is small as well...filming different angles was pretty tough for this video (with the bed in the way). Your dilemma is a tough call. I originally had a 32 inch, but found it too small to watch from my bed, so I returned it and bought the 40. I find the 40 perfect. I think a 40 inch would be too big for sitting a meter away, but viewing from your bed, I think you'll be happier with the 40.
