I love most Ministry albums, but this one is my favorite - got me through some tough times. Also, I remember this album being in a jukebox in a bar at the university I was attending. I treated the patrons to Lay Lady Lay followed by The Fall. Nobody got it. I was happy.

this is one of the better tracks on the disc. but, people were mostly irked by the guttural feel; if you're coming at it from the future, back, you might not notice it, but they were really a punk band at the time, and were seen as warping into the kind of metal band that much of their fan base cringed at. but it's not that it wasn't any specific aesthetic. people just felt it wasn't as _good_
