Using a sticky roller on the edges of the minky removes the fluff quick and easy.

Why do you use a separate minky binding rather than just folding the back over the raw edge to the front?

That’s another way! I did not preplan my binding that way. However, keep in mind that having extra Minky on the sides can be a bit cumbersome while quilting on a domestic machine.

How would you do this if using a minky backing for the binder?

You would start at 12:28, after trimming your edges about 3/4 or 1 inch away (depending on how big of a binding you’d like) and sew it down on the front.

You are supposed to use the markings on the ruler to measure, not the mat.
