This is a perfect application. Short transit, higher torque, quieter, which helps with on-site communication and situational awareness. I would imagine that all of the hydraulic and water pumps are individually powered by their separate electric motors. Reduced maintenance. Yes I know it has an diesel electric generator on board, but a smaller electric diesel engine turning a generator at a constant RPM is far more efficient then spinning a large diesel engine.
