Our iol isn’t great but it’s not the worst, and with bookend tackles we’ll be ok. Our idl isn’t much of a threat from a pass rush stand point but we should be ok against the run, and our new edge rushers should provide enough pressure. We’ll be competitive but this season isn’t about winning a Super Bowl. It’s about building up a young roster for the future and with our cap space next year we can fill holes. Enjoy the season with an open mind to be true competitors in the near future

From what I can find through some digging the overall intelligence level of this starting defense is outstanding and it also seems that Flores and his scheme is highly adaptive which takes constant tweaks and some times major changes throughout the season. He wants guys that are multifaceted and not necessarily just great at one thing or even just physically talented and perhaps that's why there is still a place on this roster for a guy like Hitman and not Danielle Hunter also what seems to keep guys like Booth and Cine off the field is not their physical ability its their ability to understand what they are being asked to do.

McCarthy and Turner are top 20 players on this team. By their very nature, first round picks are at least the level of a team’s worst starters. Until they prove otherwise (aka Sam Darnold who is about the 30th to 35th best player on the team) we should expect at least starter level success. I’d have them at least 19th and 20th on this list.

Ty Chandler did NOT run a 4.35. He ran a 4.38 40 yard dash. I think he was think of Kene Nwangwu who ran a 4.32. Kene is the biggest, strongest and fastest RB on the team with the most burst. The man needs some work. He looked great in pass protection last season too. That helps when he had 22 reps on the bench. Excited to see him return kicks this year. No giving up on Kene.

I went to the Vikings game two years ago in Miami and noticed a few things live that I probably would not have noticed if I had watched on TV. * Tyreek Hill was the fastest person on the field and it wasn't close * The Vikings could not run the ball at all except for one long Dalvin Cook run. Pretty pathetic honestly. * Dalvin Cook still had break away speed that year * Justin Jefferson can impact a game without going off * Andrew Van Ginkel was all over the field. It was annoying. I naturally started watching just him when the Vikings had the ball. I don't know if Van Ginkel will be any good for the Vikings this year, but I learned his name before walking away from that game two years ago.

I really hope Harrison phillips stays with the vikings for a long time. I love the effort he gives and think if he has another guy to really support him on the interior he will shine the way he’s supposed to and become a staple of the D-line. Aaron Jones became healthy for the Packers and Love's performance started to immediately improve. I am not convinced that Love is all that great since the Packer Offensive resurgence was more correlated to Jones' performance (and health).

Love was good the entire 2nd half of the season. Also watch the throws he was making and the arm talent. He can make throws from many different angles throwing to mediocre receivers. He’s a great QB and he’s gonna be tough to beat for the next decade. Packers should win the North imo.
