I think giving the markers another chance at life by giving them away is an amazing idea. I got a couple random colour copics that I got 2nd hand. Even if some need replacing it would be an amazing gift for any aspiring artist. I know I would cherish those markers. It was really fun seeing the store. I hope I can go in person some day.

I love the idea of giving the used markers away to someone, it‘s an enormous gift to someone who is at a point in their art journey where they need more markers but maybe don’t have the funds yet. It’s easier and more affordable to slowly change nibs and inks once you have the markers than buy a lot of new ones at once as well, so I think you would make someone really happy with it.

I wish I could work in a store like that! I work at an arts and crafts store, but it's mostly for people who do knitting, sewing, decorating for parties, and kids elementary level crafts. There's only one short aisle in the store with tiny and VERY expensive packs of markers, pencils and pencil crayons, one short aisle of sketch books, and two short aisles for paints. No how to draw art books! 😭
